Version of KissAssist.mac?
11.005
When did your problem start?
10/24/2019 (Just noticed)
Character Role?
  1. Assist
What class is having this issue?
  1. Shaman
How often does this issue occur?
Always
I'm attempting to limit my Shaman's buff cycle to only target certain characters. To do that I've used the class tagged buffs. For example
Buffs10=Primal Essence|class|shd,bst
Buffs3=Charisma|class|enc
Buffs7=Regrowth|class|shd,bst

However, during my Shaman's buff cycle if I look at the characters I find my Shaman has indeed cast Charisma on the enchanter, but also on himself. Perhaps I have misunderstood the ini configuration but I presume the above should have limited the Charisma buff to only the enchanter?

I don't see anything jumping out at me what I review the code. Could I get you to PM me a Debug Log of your shaman buffing. I a situation like this I start up kiss on all the toons, and let them fully buff. Then click off the buffs on the toons I want(enc, shd,bst) and see if that triggers your shaman. You may have to wait 30 seconds before your shaman rebuffs. Then when I am able to get the shaman to react the way I want. I then start up the logging process on my shaman and click off the buffs again on the other toons. Once the shaman has cast his rebuffs I wait another 30 seconds before ending the logging.

Can do. I'll add this to list of stuff to try out today. I'll update this post with attached blogs and a note when complete.

OK. Thanks, if you don't want to have to change all the names in the log, you can just PM the log file to me. Just remember to change the file ext from .log to .txt and you can upload the file.

Hmm, so interesting conundrum.

If I start an initial KA buff cycle with ALL buffs off all characters, the Shaman is buffing themself with Charisma. If I follow the debug guidelines above, the shaman will not cast charisma on himself. So, in other words,

Recreated bug:
1. Remove all buffs from the party.
2. Start Kiss Assist
3. Shaman buffs for a period...
4. Shaman casts Charisma on the enchanter
5. Shaman casts Charisma on themself
6. Shaman continues buffing.

Bug does not recreate:
1. Fully buff up all.
2. Cancel Charisma from the shaman and the enchanter.
3. Shaman buffs Enchanter with Charisma.
4. Done.

Would you be willing to dig through a full buff log from scratch? I could generate that and make a point of shutting it off right after the bug manifests so you'd only have to peruse the tail end?

Give this a try as well. From your shaman use the /buffgroup command while everyone is running KA. First cancel Charisma on the shaman then run the command, Does he rebuff Charisma?

Will do. I'll work on getting the fresh buff log too and try and remove some of the unnecessary front matter. May get a chance to get the log this evening if not tomorrow. I figured this is a relatively low priority bug. :-)

/buffgroup did not trigger the issue.

@ctaylor22 Well, after the latest updates and/or a buff.ini cleaning -- the problems seem to have disappeared. I'll see if it pops up again and if it does I'll capture it. Sorry for a bit of the wild goose chase.
