try adding it to the Mobs to ignore..
i have seen this the problem is.. its trying to buff the merc (with grp buffs)
but you cannot buff a merc with a grp buff you have to target the owner of the merc for the merc to get the buff.
this is your problem.
if your not fully afk botting then just grp buff the player out of grp . will sort this problem.

I had never heard of this issue before. It will be fixed in Kiss 7.

Just a couple of minor questions.

1. Right now my box group has a lvl 85 monk and 5 lvl 71s who are grinding AAs. I find the monk is unable to keep AOE agro and often lets the healers die when he pulls multiples. What I would like to do is have my SK cast his AOE agro spell if any one player not the MA in the group drops below 70 health - will that work with the heals section? Maybe something like Dread Gaze|70|!MA

EDIT: This command works fine. He does target the player that he's trying to cast it on, but that doesn't matter. Still casts AOE agro and grabs the mobs.

2. I'm just dreaming on this one and maybe hoping it's a good idea for the next version, but what I would like to do is hook the "unmezzable" list with a reaction from my team. If more than one unmezzable mob is pulled I'd like to have a list of "actions" like the mez section, but separate from the AOE section. Essentially I'd like to use it for my mage to target the off mobs and sick pet and/or cast raging servant.

3. I want to make sure my puller tank is in range when buffs are cast, but he's always either pulling or in combat and it seems that the buffers wait until after combat to cast buffs (and thus rarely land rebuffs). Is there a way to get them to cast rebuffs in combat so they actually hit the puller tank? I do have my group buffs set to |MA, but then they just don't cast it on everyone else also.

Another weird little thing I have found is with the mage's pet toys section, if you set it to give 2 of the same swords from frightforged armaments it freaks out and goes into a loop but it's ok if you use two different ones. Also it might just be me but Communion of Blood for Zerks doesn't want to work either, I have it set as a buff so it fires off whenever it's not on cooldown which is better than nothing but not ideal.

There 2 things i would like :

1.) I would like an option for rebuffing while fighting. Currently i am at an spot where i fight nearly 100% of the time. Sometimes i sit there minutes without Unity or Celerity, because i just dont leave combat. Mostly the shaman starts to buff, when the tank (the only looter) starts to loot the pile of mobs, after i finaly killed the last mob in range before respawn.

2.) Is there an option for debuffing every mob in camp before dps'ing ? Currently only the maintarget get's slowed and debuffed. If i am fighting 2+ mobs the rest hit's the tank unslowed.

3.) I still have the problem, that the mage dont stop casting to med up to full, after reaching MedStart=25. MedCombat=1 should make sure that he med's while the rest fights, but thats not the case. Sometimes he indeed med to full, but most of the time he still happy dps'ing with <25% mana.

4.) He never calls the Sub GoMCastSpell, even if GoM is active. He dont recognize it.
In the current KissAssist.mac line 21 looks like

fixed this problem.


Edit #2 : Regarding the problem, that my mage dont start to med : The subroutine DoWeMed dont get called often enough. If the routine dont get called between 2 pulls, he will simply never start to meditate. Sometimes it took >30 seconds before the routine got called after an fight. For testing i did an /call DoWeMed right after entering Sub Combat and this seems to fix it.


By the way, i like how you write your script. It's pretty good readable.

Something else I've noticed that is causing me some annoyance, and this may be a setting that I'm missing somewhere: My tank pulls and runs back to camp. He has 3 mobs chasing him. Instead of attacking the one that he targetted to pull and came into camp first, he stands there until the last one gets to camp and attacks it, while the bard is trying to mez that same mob and all the while the first mob(s) that came into camp are chewing him up unslowed and unmezzed... Of course I'd rather have the tank just tank the first mob that comes into camp (unless one of them is on the burn list) and let the bard mez any stragglers so the tank takes less damage before the slow goes off (sham assisting at 98%) and so the bard is actually mezzing a target that will stay mezzed. Am I doing something wrong here? If it matters, the adds that come in later are usually lower level mobs.

edit: I suppose not having the tank pull might fix this, but thinking my bard will get eaten alive doing this and my monk is the main looter right now b/c his bags are so much better than the rest of the party (so he would pull slower). Open to any ideas, though!

having a wierd ish problem my pullertank is going to pull a mob a "neighbor" is pulling said mob and at 300' the pullertank is going past his leashing distance and then will not return to camp but i have CampRadiusExceed=600. now one thing that i am wondering is /maxradius command setting the wrong variable? or possible 2 variables?. other thought is should the puller ever break leashing? anyway just a fyi. great macro loving it to pieces

After digging through this thread i realized that the problem with GoM working here and not there is a problem with how you catch the event. You had it that way, that it would work with everything but lv 100 GoM, and changed it later so that it would only work with the lv 100 GoM.

Your CampRadius or CampRadiusExceed was set to 900? CampRadius really should never be higher than 40

My SK has a spell named "Voice of Thule" also has an AA named "Voice of Thule".
How to get him to cast the AA instead of trying to mem the spell (8 minute recast!!) ???
I tried deleting the spell but it won't let me.

Download 6.8.8 that was a bug in 6.8.7 see if its fixed. I just uploaded 6.8.8 an hour or so after 6.8.7
 
Maskoi, will 6.8.8 work on Test Server? Heading back home after being on vacation for two weeks and haven't seen any question about this on Test.
 
This started a few mq2 patches ago, wasnt with a new kiss but some of my chars now instant camp when i do ctrl+x. Is this a problem and how do I fix it?

That's part of Live now. Any time you're in a non-combat zone and you camp, it's instant. SOE added that.
 
No group only sorry. I will at the macro after i get home should be an easy hack to rez just group. i will post it.
 
I saw this now a few times : An toon get rezzed, cast 1-2 buffs and then sits down and med a while.

I would like, that kiss checks if one of the buffs is an mount and summons the mount ASAP after beeing rezzed. That should be the first thing. Please :)

After i wrote my post, i did this. Because after re-reading what i wrote i recogniced that also.

But if rezzed while an pull is going on they will sit down and med, and not summoning the mount.

Since i level or grind in zones where i can constantly pull, and autopull because i am standing right at "high traffic points" with lot's of light blue's there is almost allways combat going on.

I dont know how hard it is to change your bufflogic that he will check for an mountbuff and do this buff regardless of any other settings (execpt buffson=0) or circumstances after getting an rezz.

Your bufflogic works pretty well and i recognice it's not really an bug or something, just something i would find useful (which dont mean it IS useful, just it's in my eyes :)..)

I have a question regarding the order of spells beeing casted:

Is there an way, to FORCE Kiss to cast spells in order ? Regardless of the HPs % of the mob ?

I played around with DPSOn=1/2 but it just dont seem to work. I dont really see an difference in casting order there.

If i understand it correct he should cast the spells in order, but often he dont. Casting Malosene, followed by Malosinete (Which makes no sense, but Kiss CANT know this). Or Fickle Flare, followed by Bolt of Molten Steel.

The DPSx= list should be (IMHO!) a prio list, cast from 1..10 with 1 has highest prio to 10, lowest prio.

That way it would go :

First Malosinete, than Malosene (only once per fight), then Fickle Flare->Spear of Magma->Fickle Flare->Bolt of Molten Steel->Fickle Flare->Spear of Magma

You could then build cast combos, because fickle flare CAN amplify the next direct damage spell.

This should work regardless of the pchp of the target. Maybe an DPSOn=3 for kiss 7? :)
 
There is a secret new DPS function in KA7 which I can't talk about that will resolve the casting order issues.

KISS = keep or simple stupid = no casting combos :(

but when set up in a certain order it will ALWAYS cast in that order.
 
My burn is not activating at all, set the text in INI then tried doing it in bc and group and doesn't even say the message about activating. Haven't used it in a while but it used to work fine. Any ideas?
 
Sounds like your aliases are gone. Try setting KissAssistVer=0 in one of your ini files and restart kiss to rewrite the aliases.

Thats pretty cool!

Regarding the cast combos : i just think an prio modus dont take the simplicity modus from kiss ;P (For the user, for you it's maybe not that simple anymore!).
The Setup is the same, and the user can decide if he use DSPOn=1/2/3/4.. whatever. I just think it can make a pretty big difference dpswise.

Tried that and it did not work. Did find the problem tho. In Kiss the burn is "[MQ2] #*#|${BurnText}|#*#", which worked when I did /echo from that window but I was trying to do it from /bc. Anyway, took out the [MQ2] part and now it works again. Not sure if that helps anyone else
 
don't do that. It will set off every one randomly. Use this command

Something's up with looting. Used to be on the corpse before it hit the ground, now it seems like they aren't looting but then I saw one go to loot as I was pulling the next mob. Did I do something wrong? Ini hasn't changed.. only Kiss 6.8.8 downloaded.

Update:
Rebooted. Checked for Ninjadvloot.inc, checked for loot.ini and all are here. Toggled /looton several times. Assigned another team member to loot and still the same.
I'm sitting here for 90 seconds. No mobs in the vicinty, no aggro on xtarget.. all FH, FM and FE but no looting.
Something's up or I've messed up some setting somewhere.

Going to try and download ninjadvloot.inc again just in case it got fubared.

Update2:
Tried reverting to Kiss 6.8.6, tried DL Ninjadvloot.inc fresh.. I saw one try to loot while I was off pulling but it's very, very inconsistent. Now corpses are piled up.
Maybe I'm missing a plugin or something?

Ninjadvloot 4.3 dont loot for me also, i use 3.1 which works flawless.
