Discussion - Kael or Skyshrine quested

So whats the current consensus. Of course Thurg gear other than Bp/Legs and a few minor pieces are only starters. Trying to Determine what faction falls in line better for the smaller guilds for tier 2.

They are about the same'ish. I would pick Skyshrine only because then you can still kill in Kael without worrying. If they ever fix the regen with mobs too, it might open Dozekar.

It's a beautiful zone, though. I kinda wish there was more of a reason to be there. Very interesting, and rarely a reason to show up.

It is my favorite zone probably, design wise. The big corridors and just huge epicness feel of the place when you're running down to Yelinak's lair. Perhaps they could have implemented some type of "fast travel" NPCs for those that are Ally but it's whatever. I don't mind the run.

Stat wise. Armour farmed from HoT and handed in in in SS is best for pretty much all classes. The Kael armour farmed from WToV is nice for warriors but that is about it.. there might be the odd piece that is better but on the whole; warriors = WToV. Everyone else = SS.

For Kael faction just kill WW dragons. The ones north of ToV are easily dropped by 6 people. 50 faction per hit.
For CoV faction just kill the mobs behind lord Tormax. - Armour givers they give 25 faction per kill and there are normally a number of picks up.

When my earliest guild was doing this, we were small and we farmed faction on both from the start to get that sweet spot for both. I may remember it a little incorrectly, but we had mixed armor on our warriors to maximize their individual stats. That actually helped us tremendously as we went being small because we wouldn't have 5-6 tank line ups like larger guilds would have when one dropped on a target.
