Problem - KA no longer accepting mage pet as assist target

It's a game thing. When I first started using MQ2 I was having similar problems. When I was unable to use KA to assist my pet I'd unload MQ2 and do a /target petname and wouldn't target the pet. The issue is totally random however. If I was killing in a zone for a little bit and then would try to target again, it would work. Then if I tried it with MQ2 it would be fine.
Yes. I would regularly set up the cauldron as a buff, target my pet and let it cast afk to stock up on the gate portals and pet weapons.

Ok thanks for that info. I'll check to see if it is the same on my mage.

Try suspending and un-suspending the pet, or making a new pet see if it keeps doing it.
My mage is starting up ok with pet as assist

I also am still using 10.2.3 , and tested with 10.2.5 and no issue still

/mac kissassist pettank ${Me.Pet.CleanName}
will use your pet as tank, and it just works out of t he box allmost, well gotta set up your spells and stuff.
