Problem - KA freezes when not in focus

Most of my ini's are taken from the 105 list, with minor modification to errors or situational change requirements.
I tested with /VP on+off, currently running process lasso for affinity and performance auto setting.
This issue happens whether I have 1 group of 6 running or 2 groups of 6.

I use autocleric, used autobard/war, uses AFKNuke on PLed twinks, these all dont encounter the same issue.


But I still love KA the most with the flexibility it gives, therefore I just want to thank the KA team for your hard work!

I have something similar going on, I'm using wineq and if I switch directly between toons the one I switched from will act weird, esp. if it has to move it's all over the place.
Only thing I do to prevent that is clicking on my web browser or something before I go to next toon instead of swapping directly, then theres no problem..

Check your EQ settings and make sure you have Max. Background FPS set to something like 30 to 50. You will find this setting in Options, Display Tab, Advanced Button. There is a post on setting up your MQ for multi boxing, but I don't have the time to look it up right this instance.

EQ windows causes issues for me at least the free version. I stopped using it!

Check your EQ settings and make sure you have Max. Background FPS set to something like 30 to 50. You will find this setting in Options, Display Tab, Advanced Button. There is a post on setting up your MQ for multi boxing, but I don't have the time to look it up right this instance.

I seen most of the performance / lag related posts, and played with them a little bit, currently set at 60fg 52bg using mq2fps to control it, but the issues I mentioned still happen.

I turned of MQ2FPS, why use two frame rate limiters? EQ's and MQ2FPS.... Either max EQ FPS and use MQ2FPS to see if that helps or disable MQ2FPS...

I am going to play around with EQ's option for FG+BG FPS and MQ2FPS and see can get a result and report back.

I'm pretty sure I had this same problem with MQ2FPS and disabling it fixed it. Start with that just unloading it.

Wackawacaka I tried with MQ2FPS off on a few KA chars and some with it on, they all still have the freezing problem.

nope, no freezing problem on autocleric either.

gonna try the new update and see if it helps.

This problem was fixed after changing Nvida graphics settings, in advance option where vertical sync was set to adaptive, I changed it to the default one which is Use 3D application setting, and also need to change the "Multi-display/mix-GPU acceleration" to "Compatibility performance mode".

The "Multiple Display Performance Mode" seems to be causing slight delay one random character windows.

Will monitor a bit more.
