My son tonight wanted to grab a KA 11.005 ini file for his bard and download KA 12. With all the improvements for the bard in KA 12 I don't know if it is that simple.
Plus there is no KA 12 doc. I really don't know how to advise my son. He has zero exp with KA but I can help him with KA but I know nothing about a bard. We chose
bard over enchanter since there was only one mage but 2 melee classes. He wants to use KA for his bard to mez multiple mobs and I doubt there is any KA 12 bard
ini file examples. What should I advise him to do? Thanks in advance TIA

I am using kiss 12 with Sic's bard INI with no issues. There is probably stuff that could be added with the newer version, but I'm happy with it's performance.

yep. use Sic's 11.005 ini in KA12 or use the 11.005 ini in KA11005.

biggest difference is the melee twist will start when mob is on aggro rather than starting when mob is in camp (circa 6-12secs)

You can use a KA11 file with KA12. it just might take a few seconds longer to load up.

I've actually recently installed KA 12 Beta myself and my KA InI for 11 works flawlessly when converted to KA12. And is quite detailed, expansive and covers almost every type of condition.

Most of the changes are documented in the KISS 12 beta thread. There is official instructions/documentation that has been developed, but it is still being published. Once the Instructions have been published, kiss 12 will no longer be in beta but will be moved to production.
