Question - Just a mage question

So I am trying out a mage and I had a few questions

When multiple mobs are attacking, the pet will kill 1 then get beat on in the back on the 2nd mob. Not sure why

When I pull with Burst of Flame (level 1 nuke) the mob ends up right on top of the mage, the mage then triggers to move away from the enemy but runs right through the middle of the enemy and then gets beat on

I did end up using pull with pet which works but is very glitchy as sometimes the pet tags, runs back to me then the mage clears the target and the pet gets beat on again

I think there may be a simple explanation or tweak involved.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Since auto-hater target does not work well - especially when only the pet has agro the script does not pull out of /pet ghold so the pet gets beat down if more then one mob gets pulled or an add wanders in and only aggros the pet....since you cant turn off /pet ghold in the ini file.....if your in an area where this happens the only choice to make KA keep you alive is to comment out the two pet ghold lines in the KA macro- which Maskoi seems to hate to hear anyone commenting out lines.....and if anyone asks did you try adjusting the camp radius I will pull out what little hair I have left!!

Yes I am using pullerpettank.

There are roamers in the area I was testing. I did notice that when the script is started the pet defaults to pet hold, then I simply clicked follow and he would follow me around. I didn't turn off pet hold, which could certainly explain things and remedy some of the issues. I am not sure if kiss forces this to stay on or not

I did adjust the camp radius as that's one of the primary things I was messing with. Tried 30, then 50 then 100 then 200 and mostly didn't impact the experience I witnessed.

Not sure what commenting out lines means.

I am confused.
What is it exactly you are asking?
Do you want pet hold on or off while you are pulling?
What is the problem?

Commenting out just means that you find the lines in kiss and add | in front of it. This has been an ongoing problem. If you search the forums you'll find problems with pet hold. I wish there was a toggle in Kiss and in game so we can choose if we want pet hold on or not.

Thank you that will help as sometimes I want /pet ghold =1 and in some situations I want =0!

- I think the only reason the /pet ghold does not work correctly is xtarget - auto hater does not work correctly ....when only pet or merc has the aggro of the added mob. The xtarget is in the pullers (Mages) Extended window - but does not get added to Target (F8) unless the (F8) button is pressed or the mob gets to the puller (in this case he rarely gets to the MAGE) unless the pet dies!

Thought pullerpettank issue was kinda fixed if you used pull with pet instead of pulling with a spell.. not sure.. can't seem to find the thread anymore.....needle may be lost too.
