Question - Issue with pet illusions

I seem to be having an issue getting my pet illusion to stick. My toon isn't targeting my pet before casting the illusion spell. I have tried different illusions. I try to use the longer casting ones as I know there has been an issue with shorter cast times not allowing time for the target before cast. I just don't know if I messed up a needed Plugin or not. And it doesn't seem to happen ALL the time, but when it does mess up it is always messed up on that toon regardless of what illusion I try. I have tried in the pet buff section and even in the regular buff section with |Pet at the end but that just loops the buff constantly so that is not good. I am kind of at a loss.

Some of the pet illusions do something different if you are targeting them or not.

So you'll want to determine if that is your issue, and then do something with it.

Also, I don't know off the top of my head if dual flag works for pet buffs, I'd put it in buffs with a condition

Ya. This one is a version I have to target pet to get it to work. On my other toon I don't seem to have a problem with it. For some reason it just keeps skipping the target pet part. I'll keep fussing with it.

Ok. Well I have an update. Kissassist is not targeting pet for pet illusion clickies and I do not know why. I wonder if there is something in the basic Kissassist code that doesn't tell pet buffs to target pet before clicking an item? I have a workaround - put one of my other pet buffs like Companion's Aegis before the pet illusion clicky so that it already has the pet targeted before it triggers the illusion click. Tried it with all my toons and this is the base problem with all of them. I just didn't notice before because my silver account has pet illusion keyring and it doesn't make me rebuff pet illusion every time I zone. New F2P account rebuffs every zone and it was getting super annoying that it would keep trying to buff pet but wouldn't ever target pet.

Well, as mentioned. Eq recently changed some of their clickies to do different things if you're targeting your pet or not, so I imagine that code I'm koss hasn't changed. Aaand it wasn't all items.

You could also do a command:/multiline ; /tar pet guy; /timed 3 /useitem "item in quotes"
