It seems etherquest is broke so I want to know if there is an emulator that works on a network without accessing the internet.

Use EQemu and mini login. :D fun for all but can be a PITA to get running.

Spent all weekend looking for a way to make minilogin work  . Found a guide at http;//www.eqemulator.net/guides.php . Got EQEmu 0.6.3DR1 from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=88515 . MySQL from http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/ I used the 3.23 database server as I couldn't get the 5.0 to run, kept gettin an error that it couldn't find a file that existed exactly where it couldn't find it  . I got all that databases from http://www.projecteq.net/getfiles.php . And minilogin 6.2 from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=88515 . I followed the steps in the readme file from the minilogin zip and I start the minilog in and world.exe. The minilogin says 27680 new server connection: 127.0.0.1 port: 27656. the world.exe window says setting world to minilogin server type connected to loginserver: localhost:5999. when I start EQ and try to log in the minilogin window says 63050 new client from ip: 127.0.0.1 port 4204. and no change to the world login, and EQ sits at loggin in to the server. Please wait... umm I'm still waiting  any thoughts on why I don't get to a server screen?
