Sometimes once Pestilent Paralysis (PP) hits the mob might be 15 feet away and I lose the target and nothing else happens. I'll close the gap to maybe 7 feet and the macro picks up and continues killing the mob.
Sometimes once PP hits the mob is 40 feet away and everything works as intended.

I also noticed that if a mob is on the farther side of the range when it dies it will likely not get looted until the necro happens to be in the neighborhood again.
