Question - How to set a macro pause/unpause key bind?

Hi,

I know there used to be a post or page somewhere that explained how to do this but I've been unable to track it down.

I understand how to use /mqp to pause or unpause a script.

For a bunch of years I have had a bind set so that when I hit the 'e' key it does /mqp to quickly pause/unpause my macro. For the life of me I can't figure out how to set this up again on a new Macroquest install. Copying my Macroquest.ini file over doesn't do it, even though I have "pause_Nrm=E" in my key binds section. I've taken to copying my entire MQ2 folder to a new computer to retain this feature, as I have no idea which file is needed.

Anyone able to tell me how to set this up again the correct way? I used to have f set to stop twist also, and I've lost that along the way. (I found these handy to be able to quickly switch to manually controlling my puller.)

I'm not sure about adding it to the macroquest.ini, but you can make basic hotkeys with MQ2 commands and then bind those to keyboard keys. Using the EQ options - keys settings.

I have 3 key as macro pause toggle on all toons:
/mqp

Then a pause everybody key on my tank:
INI:
/bcaa //mqp on
/bcaa //twist off

You can make an un-pause, or invis one. "/nav stop" is another nice one if mq2nav is running your puller somewhere you don't like.

Sic has a nice list of hotkeys too.

You probably had E bound to one of your social keys, just like in the old days where you mapped a movement key to forcefeed.

First step for me would be to scan though all the Hotbar mappings and see if E is not mapped

Did not have E bound to anything, and it worked fine after I copied over my whole MQ2 folder. So something else is needed besides the macroquest.ini file to get it to work, I am just not sure what.
