Question - How to get Ranger to stay at a certain range?

I am very new to using KA, got an ini for 110 ranger, got it working pretty well. Only problem is I cannot seem to figure out what to set stickhow to get him to stay at a certain range or really move to that range? I can manually do /stick 50 and he will move to that range, allowing bow attacks and jolting kicks, focused gale of blades too. I am just wondering how to make him move out to that range or in to that range on his own? Sorry if this is answered somewhere, I have been looking at different posts and such for a few days now, and been playing around with different ideas, just finally figured I would ask. Thanks for any help.

For searchability's sake:-

If you have:

Code:
AutoFireOn=1

set in your melee section AND you are a ranger, then the EQMule version will try to move if you are too close in combat. I suspect you should turn MQ2Melee OFF in KA as well, as that tends to override anything specified in macros.

I just get a message saying "You need to move back a little" if he is too close, and when further then the range he just bows and nukes fine, but just out of range of kicks and gale of blades. Either way never moves closer or further. I have autofireon = 1 and mq2melee off in KA.

Might be worth posting on the EqMule thread then, avid users might have that on their watch list and be able to help.

OP thanks for posting this, I have the same question. Did you find a solution for this problem?

Does anyone have any guidance on how to automatically keep rangers at range while using Autofire in KA?

Use MuleAssist. I have a ranger suggestion in my guide that worked for me.

KA 11.05 just doesn't handle bow rangers well.

In your box crew do you use Masoki KA then MuleAssist for ranger? Any issues mixing?
Correct. I use KA 11.05 for all but the Ranger. No issues mixing. The only downside is MuleAssist requires maintaining a non-11.05 compatible INI that doesn't support dpson=2. Conditions are a different syntax as well. Other than that, nothing to keep in mind.
