Intro:
well as you know sometimes it good to have an older version of EQ (lets say for when you want to play EQemu)
This is how its done easy:
Get a clean install of Titanium (from a store)
Or:
Downlaod this:
ftp://eqftp.station.sony.com/eqtrilogy.exe
Download these two patchs from raidaddicts.org:
KMRA Patch. (you can use both)
Spells File
Run KMRA Patch
And then put the data from Spells File into the folder you made for the Titanium
How to get an emu account
Register an account here:
http://eqemulator.net/forums/
Register again for the Login Server
Go to your "Usercp"
Select "Create a LS Account"
Fill the info as needed
EQHost File
Change your EQHost.txt
Go into your EverQuest directory
Find the EQHost.txt file.
Make it look like this:
Bypassing the patcher
Create a shortcut to launch EverQuest
Done this way:
Locate the EQGAME.EXE file
Right-click
select "Create Shortcut."
When made:
Right-click that shortcut
select Properties.
In the "target box" (where the path to the eqgame.exe file is).
add "patchme" (no quotes).
Now you should be able to play emu, on raid addicts anyway. If not well I'm wrong...
This is still something I'm testing. So let me know if you have any trouble.
Ohh and fell free to redcent me if this helps you.
