Version of KissAssist.mac?
11
When did your problem start?
Not a problem just a question.
Character Role?
  1. Tank
What class is having this issue?
  1. Warrior
How often does this issue occur?
Always
If I wanted to set two tanks or 1 tank and a separate pet tank and had two named enaged. Is there way to control which tank would grab xtar0 vs. xtar 1?

no, kiss is designed to have one main tank/assist, a puller, and several assist, the puller can be the tank etc, but what you want is not within the scope of kiss11

Yeah definitely outside the standard KA stuff.

Not sure if this would work, but KA's tank system will naturally choose Named over regular mobs and you can try the BurnAllNamed=2 setting which only activates for named listed in the kissassist_info.ini file. I think the Burn routine is what makes Tank's force target changes to Named when they see one. So if you had a second install directory for one of the toons, they could specify which named they are looking for to Burn.

Tank
  • Running from standard MQ2/KA install directory.
  • Tank's KA ini set to BurnAllNamed=2
  • Edit the kissassist_info.ini for that zone/instance and add the Named you want the Tank to grab to MobsToBurn.
PetTank
  • Running from secondary MQ2/KA install directory.
  • PetTank's KA ini set to BurnAllNamed=2
  • Edit the kissassist_info.ini for that zone/instance and add the other Named you want the PetTank to grab to MobsToBurn.

hmm

set tank to tank role, and have half the group assist tank name.

set mage pet to pettank role, and have the rest of the group assist him

maybe that could worl

so I just used kiss tank solo on the warrior tank and pet tank on the bst and it seemed to work. Maybe there is a distance check, I didn't have an issue with either tank trying to run off attacking the opposite named.

Need more info. who and were? Example If one is going to come from the west and the other the east, split them up and give them a different radius. They would need to be smaller and the rest of the group would need to circle both.
