Attached is what I have so far but it just isnt quite working and Im very new to this.
I tried maining with my SK but at this point I am still learning and having a hard time adjusting when multiple aggros engage. I don't usually sit in one place camping and pulling as I generally prefer to more through a zone. Sometimes this causes unexpected issues with surprise aggros from others walking by or near.
I have switched back to main with my necro using the higher level pet as the main tank. My normal play style as a necro is to dot up all the mobs initially and to make sure to keep my pet on any targets that the healer gains during this process. To maintain higher dps I want to have my sk dot up and move through targets with my pet as the pet changes targets. So my questions numbered are here:
1. Beginning of ini file: in the first section of the ini file i want to make sure i have everything set right here in terms of assist and campradius
2. I had an issue last night that if i was dotting and targeting a target that was too far away the sk would do nothing so i always had to be close to the mob for the sk to even engage. What particular command in the ini file controls this? campradius, chase distance?
3. How do I make sure the sk goes to the next target i select even while the initial mob is still alive i.e. when i move pet to healer aggro or want the sk to dot up the next target while the preceeding get dotted away. (the reason I ask other than getting aggro off healer is that I am usually a very fast necro player and I want to get the most out of my dots in a way that allows me to continually pull as my dots where them away). So ultimately and simply, how do i get the merc to change targets on the fly as i move my pet from one target to the next.
4. Lastly, when sstarting the kissassist do i /mac kissassist the pet or me the necro to achieve all of this and would i label the pet as tank and assist? If not, how do i assign roles to achieve the above wanted results?
Thanks
and if i left any valuable info out please do let me know
