Get max stats for Drachnid Candle

dunno if its posted here or not, but it seems to work for me and people i've told:

this is just a cheap workaround, but instead of doing that loot it first or whatever you do, just go into options before you log in (where you pick what race models and stuff) and turn off dynamic lighting or whatever its called (theres only 1 lighting option)

this will give you max stats for your drachnid candle all the time

I think he means if you turn off the lighting that the Drachnid Candle charm will have max stats. Cause it gets more stats the few light items you have or something like that.

I'm still not understanding.. My candle has been 190 hp and mana since I got it and I have had dynamic lighting on all along. Does it go higher?

No. But the point is that some people have light sources around them, like, say, skeleton illusion for necromancers, which take away stats from the candle. This seems to be a way aroung that.

The whole point of this site is to share exploits and such... if you dont like it, dont pay to belong... if you do then use the stuff untill it does get nerfed. Posting that its gonna get nerfed is in now way helpfull or conducive to the continuation of any of these threads.

Just a peeve of mine and it seems to be happening on almost every thread these days.

I carry tons of lightsources, use skelly illusions, I'm max stats on candle no matter what even with lighting on.... <shrugs> always seemmed broken to me

It seems to recheck your light sources everytime you zone. Anyone know a way to block it from sending the info?
I've stripped naked zoned then put all my gear back on and had it max stats for that zone, but it is alittle annoying to do consistently.

Might be can block the item checking the daytime, but that sounds tougher.

I know when I'd zone with Drachnid Candle it would be max stats for a second then it would seem to take into account my equipment and drop in stats. It seems like it is possible to trick the candle into think I'm buck ass naked. Atleast stripping when I zone seems to work, so I can have max stats on raid targets.

That's exactly what was posted firstly and was recently nerfed if I'm not mistaken.

I don't know about you, but my Batskull Fetish I still use. It uses the same type of restrictions, and there isnt all that much thats better. I would still be interested in knowing if there was a workaround. then again, even the base stats on Batskull Fetish arent that bad!
