Tip - Fear Shard turn in work around.

I haven't had very much luck finding Fear Shards for 91+ and the ones for sale in the Baz are way over priced for that level. Most of the low level fear shards are going for cheap rates, so on a hunch I shrouded down to those levels for the turn in and successfully maxed out my faction.

Max out your faction before this gets out and all the low level shards get their prices jacked up too.

Or, for the level 71-85 shards, bind yourself near the questgiver in cob, get killed by a mob repeatedly to de-level to 85, turn in your shards and use Expedient Recovery (or just normal 96 reses, but you'll lose ~40% of 95) to return to max level.

I've used both methods you guys talk about here for my toons. I couldn't believe someone was selling the shards for 1k each. I only got 4 at that price though. Shrouding down is the easiest way but killing yourself to 85 right in CoB works great if you have the Expedient Recovery Vet AA. There's a pretty good rumor going around that they only drop in outdoor zones, which makes a whole lot of sense. being that they are "raining" down.

Personally I've spent a lot of time in indoor zones and gotten 0 shards to drop in entire weekends.. I can take my ranger friend to FoS and get 7 shards in two hours. If you're having trouble finding shards go to an outdoor zone, not just one that looks like it's outdoor, but one you can pop a mount in. I believe sony has or is going to increase the drop rate anyway so grats if you made a killing on shards. Personally I have too many alts/friends and I want to get it done for all of them so I haven't sold any. I bought about 9 shards at 30k a piece when I didn't know the secret that they only drop in outdoor zones. Now I wish I could get that money back, lol.

They drop in doors too. I've had plenty drop in Sep for myself.

Apparently word got out :/ Since a couple days ago that i've noticed the shroud NPC's in POK are no more.... Silently nerfed by SOE. Unless you still have your runed gargoyle tooth in claim or claimed it on the person you need to shroud on right now. The gargoyle shroud npc is still there. I was going to give my buddy the last shard he needs for ally but he needed to shroud for it. No luck for him :/ He claimed the tooth on who knows what toon..
