Tip - farming vox and naggy

have some char under lvl 52. have high level with tank merc in group. have tank merc on agressive. have low level agro vox and naggy, have your level 80, 85 or whatever tank merc kill them pretty quick

for some reason mercs dont get banished. i have like 30 100% bags others items pretty crap, xept cloak and few others.

btw. you can also heal your low level merc without getting banished. agro does not transfer. I had lvl 40 char with lvl 40 healer merc. my cleric healed the merc as it was getting owned by mobs. didnt know the merc trick back then. after founding this out I been using tank merc trick

well i tried this today on vox and vox ignored the merc completely and killed my low levl toon. Maybe im doing something wrong

hmm, maybe have low level toon have healer merc that takes over agro? vox on healer merc, your high level tank merc on vox.

I think that was they way I did. and I healed the low level healer merc with my main cleric.

then again low level healer merc can survive for a bit. lvl 80+ tank merc should eat throu vox pretty quick

thanks, I'd try it myself but i don't have my boxed char activated yet.. just got back from a 2 year break

it's nerfed. I tried with tank merc and DPS mercs. they dont do any damage to naggy anymore. didnt try vox, but I guess it's the same.

what you can do thou, is to have 85 lvl merc to heal you whole fight. merc agro dont transfer so you can easily sit out with lvl 85 and merc heals you. can use lvl 52 tank and 85 merc to heal

EDIT: yep confirmed. grouped 51 necro with tank merc and 85 shammy with cleric merc. 85 merc healed whole fight. took a bit this way but works

another interesting thing. if I let lvl 50 merc tank vox/naggy I can send in my 85 lvl pet and I dont get banished. atleast works with shammy pet. shammy swarm pets get me banished thou, so just regular pet works.

Naggy "moloed" this morning, 51 cleric w/ tank merc. Easy fight, took about 15-20 min I'd say.

I didn't realize this had previously been discovered. through my own fooling around I was able to kill Vox with an 51 DPS merc and an 85 Cleric merc. The high level DPS/Tank merc still do no damage.
