Question - EQ Atlas

So I've came up with the plan to make all of EQ Atlas into a pdf file format or something similar. If I were to do this, I'd make them available here for those of us who play on P99. I'd do the maps by continent so that it'd be a bit easier to navigate. Would this be something everyone would be interested in? I'll try to do other formats as well and for a small fee (to cover the cost of materials and shipping), may offer a hard copy. Give me your thoughts and such.

Below is an example of a rough draft:

It's a nice idea - but isn't it still available? I must admit, I've not used it since eqmac...

Do this if you have a innerspace sub make a xml interface with p99 wiki frames in a iframe then you can have a in game map overlay that you can open and close at will

@Mr.Sandwiches: Yes, the site it indeed still available. But tabbing back and forth tends to get tedious. Not to mention, the site that is there is just a backup. Not the original.

@Abyss: No innerspace sub for me. Not that it'd matter much, I wouldn't know how to do what you suggested.

Well, I guess I can get started sometime in the next couple of days. I stopped worrying about it when there wasn't any interest. So that I can give you guys some immediate help, I need to know the zones you're hunting in. I'll do those first, then start working continent by continent.

He falls down in Kelethin and gets lost in Butcherblock on his way to Kaladim, I would definitely start with those 3 /evil grin nicesa

I'll get those up later this evening provided things go the way I want them to. Just need to know about a file format. I could even try to make them tablet friendly. As far as a hard copy, I won't be offering that until I get it completely finished. And for an update, Velious is currently in beta for P99. I'll include those maps as well.

Well, here's one primarily of Faydwer. Has some parts of Odus included, just not all. It's in pdf format. I used an online converter and will be doing so until I can find something better. Sadly, due to size restrictions, I had to compress it into a zip file. I'll keep working at it so I can get the file size down. Once I get the rest of the Atlas taken care of, I'll compile it all together into one file and set up some bookmarks or something in order to make skipping around the Atlas a little quicker.

I used to have a ton of player-made maps downloaded and loaded them up in a program that did parsing, logfile recording, and when you did a /log in-game it would drop an X where you were on the map -- way before maps were a thing. ;)
