You may remember me from my TBM group gear breakdowns found here (overall explaination), here (easy currency farming), and here (t2 gear breakdown). After taking a break due to RL for a few months starting a week before EoK release, I'm back and I've got a nice gear planning spreadsheet available for use for EoK group gear. This should cover non-type 5 augs as well as T1 and T2 group gear. Unfortunately due to the way Google Sheets works, it'll most likely require a copy / paste on your end into your spreadsheet to then filter as needed. This is only going to cover the static zones and the augs available from the HAs but it should do the trick for reducing the tediousness of planning your group gear grinds for EoK.

With the anniversary resulting in free Heroics, people likely have a lot more toons that they are leveling up so I figured now would be a good time to get this done. Also happens to coincide with me needing it for personal use, so 2 birds with 1 stone :p.

If anyone knows if the type 5 augs and the bags that EQresources have linked to names is correct, would appreciate letting me know so I can add in the two tabs. As great as EQresource is, it does tend to suffer some issues in regards to accuracy on loot that is shared across loot tables.

I've got some testing to do for EoK group missions before I can release a good mission list for grinding currency for the new Type 5 augs, so do keep an eye out for that.

Alright, majority of text is out of the way, here are some helpful tips for utilizing this resource for your new (and maybe current!) toons:

Heroic Stat Priorities (Disclaimer, this is based on my knowledge and some of this is subjective, especially in regards to tanks):

HStr - Melee Dps
Hsta - Shaman, Necro, and maybe Bard
Hint - Mage + Wiz
HWis - Clr + Druid
HAgi - Tanks, Enc, and maybe Bard
HDex - Maybe bard, Tanks I think it's personal choice - may be better for Group content than Agi, and maybe some melee dps.

You want to aim for 400 on all of your heroic stats outside of Cha regardless on class. If you hover over your heroic stats in the stat tab via inventory, it will let you know the next breakpoint you need to reach the next benefit of your current heroics.

Ancients:

I have not done this yet myself, however there are quests for some very nice items in Frontier Mountains that involve killing an ancient and returning a drop based on ancient to a NPC for some BiS group gear items. There is a raid item drop that will then make these into raid items.

EQResource has a pretty solid write up upon glancing at it to explain the process. Link

2 items in particular I'd like to highlight:

Honed Wurmslayer

Tome of Obulous

Stats are great on both, however the focus effects are the killers:

Tome:
Imbues your level 90 and higher direct-damage and damage-over-time spells with a chance to strike your opponent with Obulous strike, which deals 4000 damage and reduces its hatred for you by 16000 points. This strike will also restore 4000 hit points and 400 mana when it fires.

Wurmslayer:
Wielding the Wurmslayer protects you against 100% of incoming melee damage up to 1750 points of damage per hit.

"Easy" to get Type 5 Aug:

Easy is relative here, however to my knowledge this is the best type 5 aug in the game and it just requires you to complete 4 HAs.

Lceainum: Before the Siege
The Temple of Droga: The Summoning of Droga
Chardok: Atrebe's Vault
Kor-Sha Laboratory: Atrebe

Upon successful completion of these 4 missions, your achievement will go off and for any toon that has completed these 4 missions and your Type 5 aug will be rewarded. Hopefully I have the right link here

Note - to request these missions a single toon has to have completed EoK progression for all 4. Progression itself isn't that bad nor does it take particularly long if you're just doing it for a single toon. Some of progression is a group mission so you can get multiple toons flagged for parts of it if you do want to finish off EoK progression on multiple toons for the nice Rhino mount (and accompanying perma buff).

Spreadsheet (boy did it take awhile to get here)
