Problem - Either MQ2 or EQGame is out of date

Hello All!

This is the first time since I have started using MQ2 that i gone through a patch day on EQ. When i try to load a character using MQ2 i get the "MQ2 expected eqgame Date and Time to be:" message. I saw another post by Sicprofundus about a work-around but i was unable to get it to work (more than likely it is a user error :p ). How long after a patch day (generally speaking) does it take to patch MQ2 to get it to work with the most recent EQ version?

Howdy Torrax,

Patch day is the WORST!

Depending on how long all the magic takes for EQMule to update MQ2, and then for Redbot to sprinkle all the Very Vanilla / Reguides magic on it, usually several hours after server up

Pasting stuff from our discord bot which will answer some of your questions

MQ2 is generally down till about 8pm est on patchdays, EQmule needs time to test and go over the changes,once he is done, he will usually twitter about it here: https://twitter.com/eqmule

After MQ2 has been fixed, Redbot needs to rebuild it, and test it, and package up the build for redguides with redguides custom plugins and such, you can go to the forums and subcribe to this resource, to get a note when that is done and its ready for use: https://www.redguides.com/community/resources/very-vanilla-mq2-live-servers.61/

Don't forget to re-download your paid plugins like: MQ2EQWire, MQ2Berzerker, MQ2Rogue, etc - soon ™ our patcher will do this automatically

I believe the last patch day, Very Vanilla was up and running again around 9p-10p central time, same day.
