First get a tank and healer. If you are one of those two, thats even better. Get as many of your hydra's in the group as possible or friends hydra's. park them somewhere. It's just important to have them in the group, not to actually have the hyrdas zone into the DoN or even go to lavastorm when getting mission. Get the Gimblox mission- Only tank and healer zone in- unless tank isn't that good, or if you want a back up healer/ extra DPS. The tank should be buffed, and the healer do chain heals during the fight. Now that the minimal people have zoned in, everyone inside target Gimblox (/target Gimblox- Remember you need MQ2!) When ready- Tank warp to Gimblox FIRST. A few seconds after tank is there and is attacking- healer warp SECOND. Start heal immediately on tank. Fight should last a minute or two. Once he's dead- you get the DoN points- AND so do your hyras sitting outside doing nothing. The exit to the mission is right behind where you fight Gimblox, so click on the wall and zone into Broodlands. You have to wait about 40 minutes to do another. But as you are waiting you can work on teir progression for DoN. This will get you lots of points, even if you dont have a hydra in group. Its fast, its easy, its fun.

I know some people dont always have an extra account or computer to hydra. So for those people, you can ask a friend/family member to borrow their account. and use EQ windows, on ONE computer, to atleast get a hydra in group (one computer- 2 accounts running on it) to gain you those extra free points! It doesn't matter if your friends character sucks that you are borrowing the account from- cause you wont be using them to play, just sit and soak up points. I've gained LOTS of points doing this, so remember to do it with people that are TRUSTWORTHY and not stupid. You don't want them bragging to others that they just did a cheat DoN with soandso, or for them to get mad at you one day and telling a GM that you have MQ2. Have fun with this =) <3

The missions Children of Gimblax is what i used to farm over 1k crystals in one day. You must do at least the first 3 set of tasks and have the faction to get the mission. Dilar gives the mission out. Theres a 25minute reset time on the zone. You must have 5 people to grab the instance and Gimblax hits for shit. Just zone in, warp Gimblax, kill, and you get completed message with 33 crystals banked and a faction stone. in the mean time between missions i worked on tasks. Got everything i wanted from DoN for my cleric in a day.

I do this with my Beastlord and Druid with another character sitting in lavastorm. I hit druid regen aa and perfection aa /warp to gimblax with beast slow him and summon suspended pet. Then i warp in druid. He is pretty easy to kill. Timer is 30 min.

I noticed the timers work for most missions, IE, I do the Rivals mission, then try and get the Gimblax mission, and I still get the same message saying I have to wait longer before I can do another mission of this type.

Missions that have to do with progression have timers. I dont think the regular missions have any timers themselves.

which NPC gives this mission out and how far along in your progression do you have to be to get it? i'm indifferent atm, did the first set of tasks and i dont see that mission on any of the npc's

I would love to do this as well, i have sids compile but unsuer how to get warp macro or to use it if i have it with his compile, any help wpuld be great

Warp isn't a macro, it's a plugin, and it's included with Siddin's compile. All you have to do is type /plugin mq2warp to load it once each compile. Usage is really easy, you can either /warp target (warps to whatever you have targeted), /warp succor (warps you to the zone succor point), and /warp x,y,x (where x,y,z are cooridinates from /loc).

/warp is my very favorite plugin and I don't think I can play without it ever again

:)

/warp loc x y z is the command - no (,) needed just a space.

Is mq2warp built into mq2moveutils? Wondering if people were having trouble because they were loading both mq2warp and mq2moveutils. Conflict?

Thanks a ton, am still new to this and really wanted to try this one out.

Jmust, thanks for clearing that up. I never use the coordinates warp. And as to the conflict of mq2warp and mq2moveutils... I have both loaded and no problems here. I don't think it's built into it, but I could be wrong.

:)

Killed Gimblax 2 times now and lost 2 times, hes not that easy. my bst has 996aa and is 11khp, and i used my cleric to chain CH too but those flurries are just nasty sometimes.
