Question - Duos for Phinigel

These are my options at the moment


Shaman monk
Shaman SK
Shaman Mage
Shaman necro

Shaman is clearly an OP as hell duo lmao , im just trying to find out what to duo with him.

Please don't take into consideration the flavor of the month, but what will be consistent for kunark, velious, luclin , etc

You can tank and heal your entire EQ career, I would go with SK or Monk.

Shaman and SK is a classic combo. I used to play it pretty regularly. Only real downside is it won't kill super fast soloing.

If you want to experience all the game's content in those eras, I think it would be hard to beat that duo. If you want to get to the top fast solo and play more with friends, pick one of the DPS duos. Mage is probably the most "OP" in those eras if you go for 1.0.

I would have to agree, Shaman/SK is probably the most versitile combo for the era...

my favorite was always ranger and shaman. im a big ranger fan so maybe im a bit bias, but the lil extra a ranger gives can really help out. the baby heals are good enough to keep a shammy canni. ranger i think has alil more dps than a sk because of damage shield and maybe duel wield. also ranger being able to root adds some CC and ranger's harmony helps out with pulling

High level rangers are freaking awesome. As a high level wizard I love grouping with my ranger buddy. Add a bard and the dps is ristupidulous. - Just realised this was for Phinny. Maybe not a ranger then... Spend alot of time medding up after rezzes at these levels.

Rangers are pretty under developed until Planes of Power. I love Sk's but DPS is pretty bad until raid-wepped, Monks can tank almost as good as a normal tank if you gear him well for group mobs and you get the DPS to beat most respawn timers for a lot of camps. Easy pulls to boot.
