Displaying PC/NPC on the map (1 Viewer)

A few years ago, I can remember when I would pull up the map, I would have it set to display NPC and PC and those items would also display what direction they were facing, and if I can remember correctly, the line that indicated that, grew in length, when the PC / NPC moved.

I looked at all of the map options and cant come up with anything, I even looked at some of my old MQ2map.ini files.

Any help would be appreciated.
 
Is vector the wrong command?

Vector was mentioned, but not explained, by Acigaretteandsex in Ccomp5950's post.

The Wiki doesn't mention that command and the Mq2 manual only mentions it as one of the map commands.
 
Vector is the command that does what I wanted, thanks again.

All of my searches I did came up with nothing, not even in the post that thez kindly suggested reading.
