I haven;t generally put much up on RG / now NA, but i wanted to try and give some back to those that always churn out stuff for us. This is a legit way to farm up some pretty nice twink gear for 65 + toons, or just trader stuffs to dump in bazaar.
In Dragonscale Hills Brownie camp up in the trees there are easy to get to named mobs. They are all easily duoable for me with a zerk sham pair. Nothing in the trees sees through invis so you can just invis your way to each. There is no PH for the mobs, they repop every time, and they drop an item every time they die.
Leafrot pops on the farthest side from the opening into the brownie area, so I go to his end and kill him first as I will camp in the next named mobs spawn room for faction grinding. Once I have killed him I will invis up and move to Tangler Timbleton who's in about the middle of the area, also in the trees. Once in his room I will wait for the roamer to walk out and get tangler solo. This is the room where I set up for faction grinding. Once he is dead I will pull brownies between this room and the one with Gillypus. Gilypus has a static mob in his room with him, so I usually zerk snare the add and drag named back to the room, kill named, and if roamer makes it in time I simply use shaman's Virulent Paralysis to hold the add outta fight.
I haven;t seen any real detrimental spells or anything used, but tough to say as they may just get lost ni spam. The one thing to look out for is to be sure you stay relatively close to your pulls on bridges, or they sometimes fall out of the trees, and POW, we all know what comes next.
Another not, if you speak with the NPC in the top of the port in tower and get the quest Mash Brownies, you basically get double faction for all your efforts. I usually drop a campfire at this NPC, and bind my shaman near the brownie camp so I just run one toon back and forth, no warping or anything fancy needed.
Like all brownies, they also drop brownie parts = Misty Thicket picnic baskets. There is also a queen in there, but she hasn;t dropped anyhting when I have killed her.
