Question - Death issues

I am noticing that every time that if I leave my crew running afk and if I minimize the EQ windows on my PC that I always end up coming back to a bunch of dead toons, compared to if I run KA and leave my screens open I am fine. Does minimizing the EQ windows effect how KA works? I could not understand how everything was running so smooth these past week, been afking at the same spot for days with out issues, then last night the wife minimized the eq windows while I was sleeping and I woke up this morning to all dead toons.

Sounds like uou are reducing the FPS too much when minimized. Either mq2fps, EQPlayNice or the fps settings in EQ itself. Figure out where your FPS is being throttled i the background and increase it.

with wineq i fps limit foreground and cpu limit background, fps foreground is 30 using setting x out of 40 and for cpu its 1 out of 30 for background
i can minimize 9 with that setup and watch streaming videos and not have the group miss a beat.

With MQ2FPS is it better to set it to calculate? does this automatically pick the best FPS for ground and back ground?
