Request - Current Steam Rain of Fear 2 client compile requested for Eqemu use

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a compile with the /warp and /speed plugins that is compatible with the current steam RoF2 client.
My preferred server on Eqemu is going RoF2 compatible, but I'd be lost without a good MQ2.

Anyone able to help, or point me in a direction?

Greg

Redbot/Maskoi/THD,

Am I allowed to post link/url to emulator compiles/sources?

I'm looking for a compile with things like /warp and /speed included, but thanks for the pointer anyway.

That you may have to make your own compile. Not sure I can help you with that

I played on some of the emus for a few years. Whenever I wanted a /warp /runspeed plugin, I had to dig one up and do a custom compile. Not sure if that has changed or not. :-)

Ok, looks like I'm going to have to break out a compiler to get this. Now, there is an RoF2 Macroquest available. Is there any way I can just compile the plugins I want to add instead of doing all the work over again for the whole MQ2? And if so, where can I find sources and info on how to update them for the client version I'm using?

It's been a while, but I found the MQ2 that worked with the client I wanted, then tracked down the plugins that I needed that weren't in the compile and added them when compiling. Then, make sure you test it when it's done and see if it worked. There was trial and error but I usually got it to work. I would look at the main MQ2 threads dealing with versions and find one that works to get started and go from there. Someone here may have a better method than this but it is how I did it.

Used up most of my monthly bandwidth allocation downloading RoF2 client in the first place, so it'll be next month before I can DL the compiler, I assume it's multiple gigs. In the mean time, i'm looking at the code. Does anyone know of a repository for the source of the more active plugins, like Rwarp, some run speed plugin, and maybe piggyzone?

Since the Steam rof2 is currently FREE for download. Yes they are trying to get all the bugs and features working in the EMUs for that client.

NOTE: THIS IS NOT CONTENT It is just a LOGIN client. Emus are no where near ROF in Raids and quests. some servers have more than others but it all depends on the server.
