Problem - Conflict between files

Hiya,

I am using 2 computers to box with MQ2 and KA. At the beggining, I was sharing the files from one computer to the other to make it work.
Then i tryed to share it via dropbox, to be able to work on my .ini when i am not at home.
Since that time, I have files that appear, copy of kissassist_buffs and dps.
These files have the mention: copy in conflict with 'name of other computer'.
KA and MQ2 are still working but it generates these files each time I play.
I have to delete them pretty often. During the week end I can end up with 400 files like these in my folder.
Is there a way to solve that problem and still using dropbox? or should I change back to a shared folder on network?
And a last question: would it work if I move my MQ2 folder on my nas?

Thx in advance

It is an annoyance with Dropbox, sometimes their sync algorithms decide that there is a conflict when there shouldn't be one with 2 different file versions.

Since KA saves .ini files often you are seeing this problem multiply.

Possibly you could hunt around Dropbox forums: https://www.dropboxforum.com/ but I did not find any solution.

You could also try using a tool like WinMerge http://winmerge.org/?lang=en to see where the conflict arises.

Easiest is just to use a regular shared folder on your local network and back it up to Dropbox ocassionally.

MQ2/KA should work fine running from a NAS on a local network.
