completly lost on how to run this

So i have the disc for titanium(but i also have a completly updated eq) i was not certian if installing the disc would mess up my current eq,but after a week of eq being down , i decided to go for it. when i was asked what folder i wanted titanium to go into it suggested {sony/everquest} i was afraid that would certianly override what i already had , (BY THE WAY< IM NOT TO GOOD AT ALL THIS COMPUTER STUFF) but i tried to make a new folder called titaiun and it rejected it , so i went ahead and put it in sony everquest. then when i typed the rite words into run it brought me to the login host thing, i tried to put in the correct host to make it work for eqemu , and it said it would not except it. could somone tell me what im doing wrong please? and possibly a way to keep my current eq, and have project 1999 on seprate folders so i dont worry. any help would be much apreciated , thank you very much.

Uninstall your installation of titanium, reinstall. When it prompts you where to install where it says EverQuest just make it EverQuestEMU. Hit next install. Now go to eqemulator.net view the get started guide. Copy the eqhost, go to your EverQuestEMU directory open eqhost.txt and file -> Select All -> Right click -> Paste -> Save.

Probally would want to do the patchme on your everquest shortcut.

ok, i was able to get the seprate file this time, btu for some reason when i go to copy and replace the text with[LoginServer]
Host=eqemulator.net:5998, when i go to save it it tells me " Cannot create C:\Program Files\Sony\EverquestEMU\eqhost.txt file.
Make sure that the path and file name are correct"
so i click ok and takes me to the save on notepad area, in file name it says eqhost, i press ok and it tells me it already exist , would i liek to replace it , i say yes and it takes me rigth back to the previous error message (stating it cannot create it)
any further help of what i should do here ? am i doing somethign wrong , or do i have a problem with my computer, or maybe for some reason my eq and eqemu are buttign heads?

i may have figured out the problem, i had downloaded the disc from fenopy and ran them with daemon tools the first few times, since i was having so many problems i called my dad and now im using his titanium disc(real cds) this install seems to be taking muc much longer , im hoping that means that this will work correctly. we will see , ill let it be known either way. i really want to try this p99 out , so i certianly hope it works.

it sounds that you are not running stuff as a administrator.
