Complete Newb Please Help

I recently downloaded MQ2 When i log on to Eq I crash after about five minutes everytime. Also none of the commands are working. Am i supposed to get a Game Haching Utility Window? If so how do i do that. Sorry for all the stupid questions, I'm total new to all of this. :o

Where did you download the MQ2 you're using?

No you're not supposed to have a GHU window, but you are supposed to have a MQ2 window.
