I've been tinkering around with KA12 in preparation of playing on Rizlona. While I'm finding its functionality to be quite impressive there are a few things with KA I'm hoping I can change.

I don't like my characters auto-assisting. From the way its setup by default they will assist at a certain percent and if I'm on a raid this will certainly cause issues with them assisting at the wrong time, or assisting on mobs I don't want them too. I also need them to easily be able to back off of a target and switch to another.

Is there a way to disable auto assist and have them assist with a command? the e3 macro on the emulators has an /assistme command that will have all the characters on EQBCS assist the target of the character who issued the command. I'm hoping this command could also be used to have the bots switch targets, for example when adds pop on a boss fight and we need to switch off.

Is there a way to manually call for debuffs or dots? I understand they'll already do it on the MA target if its setup in the ini but I'd like to be able to have them assisting the MA but loading up dots/debuffs on an add.

For the assist part, perhaps if you put the assist % rather low, and use the /multiline ; /bcg //assist ${Group.MainTank}; /bcg //attack on that could work (at least for melees).
For caster, maybe use /mqp.

What @B_I_G__D_A_D_D_Y said is the best way to turn on and off your group from melee'n/DPS'n. You can also use the /switchnow command to get your group to switch targets. Use the AssistAt under the [Melee] section to set when the group will engage the mob, you can also set the mobs HP% on each DPS entry. The group will /assist off the MainAssist until the mob, the mainassist is on, HP's gets at or below AssistAt.
