UPDATE 25 November 2013:
This turned out to mostly an issue with the custom UI I was using. Using the default UI allowed my bag clickie to fire off.

RedGuides Community,

So I'm trying to troubleshoot my ini files for kissassist.

I have check, re-checked and then checked again the spelling of various clickies I have. When I put them in my buff portion of my ini and run kissassist, I see the in window "clicking >> name of clickie <<" but there are a few items that just don't seem to be clicked for me.

What is the best way to troubleshoot these items? These items are in my bags on my character. I have hotkeys setup that I use just fine to click them from my bag when I manually do this. The two items in question are "Eyepatch of Plunder" and "Blood-Etched Breastplate".

I have four other clickies that do not seem to have any issues.

Thanks for any assistance you might be able to provide.

Re: Clickie Effects

Is it only the ones in the bag that is having issues? If so, do you have the secondary plugin enabled so that you can click from bags? Do you have VoA expansion?

Re: Clickie Effects

did you also take the UI files from the download and place them in your UI folder? and then refresh your UI in the options window?

Re: Clickie Effects

You can click items from bags on Free to Play now as well, so everyone should have access to it.

Re: Clickie Effects

load /plugin MQ2BagWindow

put MQUI_BagWnd.xml in your
/uifiles/default folder or custom ui folder.
this can be done on the updater. http://www.redguides.com/community/showthread.php/25093-RedGuides-Updater

and in game if not working do
/loadskin and select what ever folder you put MQUI_BagWnd.xml in.

or could it be stacking issues with the buffs you are using?
post your ini
maskoi will tell ya if its right

aligwilliams,

Thanks for the explanation. I already had the plugin loaded. I ensured that the latest xml file (along with the others that get copied) were in my custom folder. I used the /loadskin (name of my custom folder) and waited for the refresh. The issues that now comes up is that when I do a shift+b half of my bags just come up as not having slots in them. When I open them up individually they open with the appropriate slots.

With that said, I still am not getting my bag clickie working :( I get the message "MQ2 clicking > name of item <" and that is it. All my worn items automatically click just fine. It isn't a stacking issue either, as this is a seperate buff for this clickie that no other clickie provides.

If it matters to you all, I'm on Test and am using the latest build 20131102

Thank you all for responding and providing assistance. This issue isn't a show stopper, just would like to get all my clickies going automatically if possible.

Re: Clickie Effects

UPDATE:
Well I thought I had found my issue but I'm still not clicking stuff in my bags. If I do a /loadskin it works fine for the first time click, but then after it attempts to click but nothing happens.

ORIGINAL POST:
So I think I might have found my problem I was having.

Does MQUI_BagWnd.xml only work with certain bags? I ask as my bard was having problems clicking his epic 2.0 from a bag (Collection Bag) but once I moved it to a regular backpack the clickie worked fine.

Is there a list of bags or a way to add additional bags to ensure all clickes will work from anywhere in my inventory?

Re: Clickie Effects

Not trying to derail the thread, but I have run into a similar issue with a couple of clicky items from the Anniversary Missions. If I leave them out of the ini, everything works fine. If I put them in, it shows at clicking ">> name of clickie <<". PCs will still assist and everything but not buff past that point.

Re: Clickie Effects

Okay did some more troubleshooting.... this is what I have found. I appears that my custom UI isn't working with the MQUI_BagWnd.xml. If I use the default UI it appears the bag clickie works more often than not.

Now my next question. I really like my custom UI, is there anything I can do to ensure that the MQUI_BagWnd.xml works with my UI?

Re: Clickie Effects

NO. There are too many custom UI to code mq2bagwindow to work with them all.

and red cented for identifying the problem.

Are you using a custom UI?

Maskoi,

Thanks for the Red Cent.... does KissAssist work with any custom UI currently? And I go back to my post, is there anything that I can do on my end to make it work with my custom UI or is all of the xml stuff done during the compile?

Re: Clickie Effects

Are you using a custom UI?

I am. However all of my Click items work fine on all my toons except items from the anniversary missions beginning with Bellikos'

The mask or the earring won't work.

I had decided they had maybe used some sort of custom punctuation or something.

Re: Clickie Effects

Yes you would have to hack MQ2Bagwindow plugin and xml file to make it match the customization of your UI.
