Problem - Chase issues / Maybe user error?

First off, I've searched and attempted to fix this issue with some of the basic info that people had listed, if you can find a forum I missed please link and I'll attempt whatever fix they had.

To start, I don't know if I'm using chase wrong, or what. My setup is three computers with 20-24 toons depending on the day. I use EQBC to broadcast commands across computers. I also use ISBoxer.

What I'm looking to do is have KISS running and have my toons follow my driver so as I move through a zone I can have them attack targets as we come up to them. What I have been attempting was a simple /mac kissassist on the tank, then using the tank to try and pull them around. After I have KISS running, I type a simple /bca //chaseon .... some toons follow, some toons dont. And its sporadic which ones do, and which ones dont. Then sometimes I have issues getting them to stop chase. I've been using /chaseoff.

So, am I even using the right function for what I'm trying to do?

If so, do I need to turn return to camp off on my toons? Could that be issue #1? But that wouldn't explain why they don't necessarily return to camp once /chase goes off. They typically just stay put when I turn chase on and either they follow or they don't.

Thanks for the help!

Try playing with /camphere on the characters being little bitches. That seems to help a bit. It will toggle a camp anchor with return to that anchor or remove the anchor and turn return off.

And chase is well and good, but eqmule posted somewhere around here to make a hotkey on your driver something to the effect of /bcaa //nav id ${Target.ID} and just have all of the characters rush the mob. Alternatively, I also have a hotkey similar that does /bca //nav id ${Me.ID} or whatever the variables are. They're not actually hotbuttons in game but rather programmed on to my G13 sideboard so I can drive on whoever I damn well please.

Can't promise these suggestions will solve all the world's issue and bring about peace, but these things are absolutely worth knowing, if for no other reason you're a better citizen in this world having knowing it. Plus, it might come up in a beer drinking trivia contest... though if it does, maybe find new, less nerdy friends?

Mine do that a lot too... always fixes it if I press back or strafe after turning off chase
add a /bcg //keypress up after you turn off chase and it fixes it

Awesome. Thanks for the help, I'll give some of this a shot when I get home from work in the morning.
