Hi all, is there anyway to get round this? (Not p99) I play on a server that allows 2 clients per IP, was hoping I could get another 2 clients somehow.. Any ideas ?

Thanks

I bypassed these restrictions by running instances of a game inside a VM that was connected to a VPN. I've run EQ inside a VM before (I would recommend VMWare as their graphics processing is way better than Virtualbox in my experience) and it worked out ok. Have not tried MQ2 but I imagine it would make the experience even better since you won't have to control the characters much.

Ah right, I knew I could do via VM wasn’t sure if there was another way. Guess I’ll have to try that, Thanks

If you've got a phone that allows wireless tethering, you could just tether another PC to it and play like that. It would give you another IP to work with.

Not sure if this would work, but maybe a VPN through WMware would allow a new IP address? I'm not not sure though, I've not tried anything like that, just an idea.

Rent a VPS setup a VPN and set your DNS to opendns or w.e you want. Your IP from the VPS is what will be shown. (5$/month)
Second you could get another internet line in the house and then you have another IP. ($20+/month)
Third you could see if your ISP provides multiple IP to the home or is it just one, if its one revert to first line.
