First and foremost I did not invent this. I didn't see it posted here - and it did help me get the spells I needed as a necro, thought it could help you guys too! Great for people starting out on Agnarr.
Save up 2pp - It's not a hard, a fistful of rusty weaps and few spider sacks and etc. With that 2pp you can buy all your spells, food, bags, and general supplies if you do this one neat trick! <click here>

RUINED HIDES!
Step 1) Save up ~ 2pp
Step 2) Buy a Sewing Kit (~9g5s)
Step 3) Drop by your Trainer and put 20 points into Tailoring (Or not, it'll only cost about 1pp to get the skill you need without training)
Step 4) Raid the vendors in your starting city for Ruined Wolf/Cat/Bear pelts.
Step 5) Hit up your tailoring supply merchant and get a stack of Wristband Patterns.
Step 6) Turn all your ruined hides into Patchwork armor and sell it back to the vendor.
Step 7) Repeat 4-7 until you have enough plat to get whatever supplies you need.
It's not phenomenal PP, but you can craft up 30pp in an hour pretty easily all in one zone, no killing or fussing. With the newbie rush, ruined pelts are still plentiful and will be for a short period. I was able to find between 800-1200 in Neriak with minimal effort on the two days I processed them all out in Neriak.
Ruined Pelts are 1s each.
Patterns are 5s2c each.
Each combine cost 6s2c.
The result sells for 1g4s3c each, and in a general run of 80 combines the result in about 1/5 failure rate once trivial.
Combine trivial at Tailoring (26).
If you do a combine of 20 at a time, you'll sometimes break even or only make a couple gold. Once I had bags, I was processing 80 "Make All" combines, which nets about 5pp every 5 minutes once you're combining and you ALWAYS make money, never fails. That's enough for food, Rune/Spell supplies, all your spells, and etc etc so you can use Origin to unload your loot and Gate to get back to your camp and continue grinding.
