Hello it's the newbie again.

My team is moving up the rank we close to 70 now. So far things are going alright.

I run a Warrior, shaman and a bard. Now i have to play the bard for the pull and let the warrior tank. I also group with a friend who runs a Rogue.

I now come in some trouble. I use the warrior as the Main assist for the shaman so i can use the |Ma on some of is buff. But i have some buff that i want to cast only on the rogue (like some proc and stats boost) How can i do this. i tried making him the MA and use |Tank for the tank but doesn't work. Is this possible when you need to cast single spell on different people ?

Also is it possible to have him the shaman keep the traps up ?

Also my warrior in tank mode does super well when i single pull but if i get 2 mob he doesn't hold aggro on each one. he stick with the first one. Since i don't have much AoE skill yet using the AoE section only work every 10 min (because of super slow cool down). Any advice to have him engage both mob to make sure he holds aggro on them.

Any advice are welcome always trying to make my life easier :)

I don't know if this will help you in the exact way you want but you can use the tags Melee to buff only melee with a certain buff, caster for casters only, and Me for only yourself. It's all in the thread manual about KissAssist 8.

You might be able to use !MA to buff everyone except the MA(Main Assist) in this case everyone except your tank. In your case the rogue and bard and shaman would get the buff with the !MA tag. Just using |Melee might be the better option since it will only buff the bard and rogue.

These are just thoughts. It's not exactly guaranteed to work but I think it might help somewhat.

For your Warrior and jumping to other mobs... I recommend two things.. try sending a command via EQBC /bca //switch to everyone, this is a KA command and will only work if KA is running. I think this only applies to anyone assisting the MA but it's worth a shot.. otherwise set up your Bard to use his Mezzing AoE section and start mezzing mobs in groups of 2 or higher. This will all go under the Mezzing section. It would look something like this:

Rich (BB code):
[Mez]
MezOn=1
MezRadius=50
MezMinLevel=55
MezMaxLevel=68
MezStopHPs=80
MezSpell=Bliss
MezAESpell=Wake of Subdual Rk. II|2

Might even be able to convince someone to help you set up a MQ2Melee holyshit command to execute some sort of mob switching while tanking, I have been searching the forums but still haven't found anything yet. If I do I will let you know.

KissAssist-8-Instructions-and-Settings-Info

Rich (BB code):
Buffs Self Only
You can now select to cast single type buffs just on yourself. If you are pulling and don't want to cast SoW on the entire group
use the following syntax: Spell Name|Me See example below
Code:

Rich (BB code):
Buffs6=Spirit of Wolf|Me
Buff MA Only/Out of Group You can now select to cast buffs just the MA. If you want to cast SoW on the just the MA and not entire group use the following syntax: Spell Name|Me See example below Code:
Rich (BB code):
Buffs6=Spirit of Wolf|MA
Buff Melee only |Melee You can now select to cast buffs just the Melee types and not entire group use the following syntax: Spell Name|Melee See example below Code:
Rich (BB code):
Buffs6=Celerity|Melee
Buff Caster only |Caster You can now select to cast buffs just the Caster types and not entire group use the following syntax: Spell Name|Caster See example below Code:
Rich (BB code):
Buffs6=Kei|Caster

I know about the melee and caster tag. As in my cases i only wanted the buff on a single person as the shaman his also the healer (can't have him trow that many buff around).

For the mez on the bard it's configure but sometime monster are immune or the bard is dead or is gone pulling... so i wanted to know if i could configure the warrior to jump on add if they are not mez.

Thanks

Have you considered adding in one of the warrior's AE aggro abilities into the AE section on KA? You can set it to go off when you have X number of mobs in camp so it will fire regardless if they are mezzed or not. Might be worth a shot.

Not so sure about the buffing- I *believe* in the Heal section of KA you can specify certain classes to heal... does this work in the buff section? Maybe I'm crazy but I really thought I remember seeing an INI with that syntax. Someone else would be able to answer that better I'm sure.

The issue with adding AoE taunt is that they all have a high cooldown talking in 10 min or so at the moment.
The monster am fighting are all coming in groups and mez immune.

Official answer:
You can not specify for a specific single target buff to land on a specific character, if they are not yourself or the MA. The buff configs for that would be |Me or |MA respectively.

You can specify class classification types such as casters/melee as mentioned... but besides those exceptions, single and group buffs will be monitored and cast on all group members during their next recheck cycle.
