Question - Blocked buff management help

I recently bought just about all of the CWTN plugins and have been leveling 12 characters (or at least I'm trying to stick to 12, but those last few spots keep shuffling). I've been failing pretty hard at landing on 2 static group comps and am regularly shuffling characters, and with literally every hybrid and pure caster in the mix I'm often having to stop and manage blocked buffs.

I know /blockspell is the usual answer, and it works, but it's a little painful to maintain as group make-ups and relative character levels shuffle, and everyone is always learning new spells.

What I've been doing is keeping macros for each character to block spell lines that are commonly problematic and updating them as upgrades unlock, clearing all blocked spells when I shuffle the group then running/updating macros as I notice blocked spells.

Anyone have a better way? Maybe I'm missing something obvious?

Unless you're in a weird level bracket, there shouldn't be that many spells that eq/mq conflicts.

But an easy suggestion is to byos and then just use mq2buffme to request whatever buff you want

Thanks, yeah the level range is 1+, and the overlap I was seeing was mostly between hybrid classes and their pure counterparts. BST vs SHM stat buffs seemed pretty common. I do like letting the plugins do what they do so I probably will just keep using the blocking method. It's not terrible, it just stands out because most of the rest of the interaction is automated so well.
