Problem - blinking cursor in MQ2 window? (1 Viewer)

I can hope that this is a normal common bug where you're just sittin there chillin with your group and every few minutes i end up with a "/" and a blinkin cursor in my MQ window. it's not always a big deal, but holy shit, nasty shit can happen when you try to chat and shit ends up in the wrong window because a random / gets tagged on to the beginning of a statement. almost had a "XXXXXXXXXX item left on corpse" go into general chat on more than 1 occasion.

is this a known bug or have i set something up wrong?

download Kiss 8.1 see if that fixes it.

actually have all the new stuff. used the rgu updater and downloaded the 8.1.1. dunno why it still lists as 7.6.7. but this has always happened through all the versions. I figured if it always happened right off the bat that it was normal or just my dumb ass

The only way your config would list 7.6.7 is if you are NOT using the new KissAssist.mac.

Once you run an updated version of KissAssist, your toon's ini file is updated with any new settings, including the version number.

Make sure you have the new kissassist.mac in your mq2\macros folder.

Once you run kissassist 8.1.1, it will notify you of version mismatch, update itself, and then your good to go.

That got it. dropped the kissassist.mac in the wrong directory...dumbass i tell ya...

still getting the cursor and the / in the MQ chat box, the file versions are right now tho.

noticed it does it when i hit the , (open all bags keypress) or . (close all bags keypress). Doesn't do it every time but it looks like that's where i'm getting it the most

You can turn that off by setting ReportLoot=0 in your loot.ini that way ninjadvloot and kiss will not report any loot left on corpse
