Question - Biggest endurance drains for monks? (1 Viewer)

I've been running a monk through an instance and his endurance drops like a rock with the KA INI I have. What would be the best discs, AA, or other to cut in order to reduce his fatigue? TIA

I haven't played a monk yet, but I know from friends that monks are endurance hogs.

Is your monk actually firing Breather in downtime? I see you have it set to 10% trigger, so if you're not getting that low you could set it to 15 or 19%. Breather is very over-powered at 101-110. You can keep a melee running 100% of the time if you're willing to stay in the 0-25% endurance area that Breather works and have enough downtime to fire it.

These two are more of "burn" type DPS, so maybe try cutting them out, Burn only or put a ${Me.PctEndurance}>50 cap on them.
  • Dichotomic Form is 6291 endurance per cast
  • Drunken Monkey is like 800 endurance per cast plus a per second cost while it's running
If the monk is causing a lot of med breaks for the whole group, you could add those PctEndurance caps on more things until it balances out. I run similar caps on Mana for my pally who is a mana-hog if you let them run all their stuns.
 
Also, you should set swift tails chant in a dps slot with a condition to fire if your endurance is low. This will help keep your monk up and running as that is a good endurance helper.
ex:

If you're needing at 70 breather wont fire. Set your med to like... 5 imo to get the benefits. Or set it to 10 and breather at 15, either way.
