I run 2 bards that I sometimes like to run outside the main tanking group so other dps can assist off the bards who assist off the MT. I rarely have an issue until today when I updated the launcher neither want to work. They will assist initially then the macro bombs out and ends with this error. I've made zero changes to the .ini recently other then toggeling chase on/off and Toggeling ReturnToCamp.

you have something, likely a condition, react, or some Lua that is returning something that starts with "A" inside a condition this is usually a spell missing a .ID at the end of it.

this appears to be one of my old bard inis as it has my old main bard's name in it :( you should adjust your condition13 and it should be "`" and not "'" for how dbg does you's pet is really you`s pet

you don't need to specify ranks in your ini either

dps28 can't be a weave, that isn't what weave is for or how it is used

your dps29 and 30 appear to be wrong, the dual flag it for buffs, i don't think you can use it like that

your dps11 is incorrect DPS11=command:Malvus's Chant of Poison Rk. III|99|Cond13 remove the "command:"

i'm not sure you can use command:/ in the burn section, but i could be mistaken there

Thx, I'll look into these later. my KA are various cut and pastes over the past year of other .inis. And since I never changed anything recently I'm surprised errors started happening. I'm obviously a novice at this stuff and appreciate all the efforts everyone in the community does to help.
I might scrap the bards KA's and just find another KA and start from scratch again. I keep learning just enough of this stuff to get me into trouble.

Sometimes you don't notice the errors because your character doesn't stop doing what you expect them to do, but they're not doing everything you expect them to do or getting stuck for a second on a command that doesn't work, slowing their DPS or starting point for DPS. Debugging your own configuration files is, IMO, the most rewarding part of playing EQ with the assistance of MQ(N)!.

Now that I've had time to look at it, I pulled up an old saved bard file and it worked. I'm trying to cross reference the old file with the error-ed file but they are not from the same author I don't think so there are too many difference in the conditions to be able to deduce what the error could be.

I've never made conditions as frankly, I'm not really sure how they work yet. So the conditions I have are the ones from the files I copied from the KA library. Which is why your old bard's name is there as I've never edited the conditions but but the goal for today is to work on my bard files, those will be addressed (basically I'm just going to go and get a new bard file from the library and make my personal changes to it and test as I tweak it.

dps28 is NULL not weave, the dps23 is a weave, not sure why. There were very few weaves I ever put in KA's and those were for toons that had clickies I wanted them to use between casts. That was either A) error on original author or B) me being up late, half awake and altering the wrong line...knowing me, more likely the later than the former.

I have to disagree with your assessment about dps 29 and 30. They work for me. I like to do them this way to get them to fire while I am in combat giving the group the DS portion of the buff Neither will trigger if either buff is active allowing me to basically have the buff on at all times with full group having both clickies. I'm testing again right now with my old bard KA and it's working well.

I removed the "command" from DPS11, again nto sure how that got there. I don't see the [/icode] on my file
