Problem - Bard is pulling furthest mob in pulling radius training the group every time...

My bard runs past every mob to the furthest and pulls it first... what is going on. I've messed with every setting.

Your Bard hates you, and is probably going to take a dump in your shoes someday...... :D :dance:

But no seriously, I haven't used KA too much. But when I had difficulties with RGMercs, first thing I do is delete the .ini file and pull file. And then re-run the macro for fresh files and modify from there. Fixed many issues. I am sure this may be the case sometimes with KA. Give that a shot.
 
It would depend on where it's pulling from but sometimes the way maps are laid out the npc it's pulling IS closest to you, if you draw a straight line to it, even through it runs around the map to get to it. There's many things you can adjust for this, but it takes trial and error. If the npc is above or below you, you can adjust the zrange level for pulling. If it's behind you to your left for example you can adjust pull radius to exclude it or the pull arc to not pull in that direction. There's no one single answer that will help this. It will just take trying some things from others ideas and see which works for you in this situation. Just remember it's not measuring the running distance. It's moving out in a spiral and looking for the closest npc it draws the shortest straight line to.

Yeah tried all of that. The mobs are all straight in-front of me on even ground. The distance in extended target show the true distance and the ones he are pulling are further... it's crazy!

Does this occur no matter what zone you are in?

I'd do a /debug all on log just before a pull then after the pull do /debug all off and go look for the pull in the log it creates. You'll be able to see exactly why it's pulling what it's pulling.

Be ready for a MASSIVE amount of spam lol
 
I had similar experiences with my group. Usually what it came down too was not enough DPS to keep back spawns down. Shrinking the pull radius fixed it so I wouldn't have too many instances of back spawn trains during a pull.

Yeah, wasn't a back spawn. Bard would just run right by 1 to 2 mobs that for some reason it wasn't picking up. It was weird. Moved to different zone and no problem.

No idea why twisting wouldn’t start back up once he got back to camp.

I think it was just weird pathing in Darklight Caverns at the Kezhda camp... for some reason some of the mobs weren't registering as there.
Darklight Caverns has pathing issues in MQ2Nav there are lines that the toons just don't like to cross, as I lead a team past that line my toon I'm leading with crosses just fine of course but the entire rest of the group will run back around a supper long distance to find him again (using double invis of course while moving).

Not sure your group setup, but I drive with my SK and let him do all the pulling/tanking and let the bard sit at camp and CC whatever adds come in. I haven't tried using my bard as the puller while everyone else remains in camp. Using CTWN plugins for the SK, if he's out pulling and a mob pops in camp, he'll immediately turn around and come back. Maybe an option for you to try that route maybe?

Yeah I really should add a tank to my crew but my whole purpose was really to just buff up my solo necro with a bard and healer… now that I’m here I see the 6 box dream in my future.

I’m actually going to try something new. I had my necro pulling for a while but it kept messing things up with his dots and breaking mez which is why I switched to pulling with my bard. Now I’m going to try pulling with my shaman pet and leave the necro and bard at camp to do what they do best. We will see how it goes.

Pulling with my sham pet has solved everything. It is a lot slower since my shaman is always meming new spells to rebuff before the pull but no issues with death or weird pulling/assisting/mezzing.

Figured out how to speed it up... Shaman buffs off... lol.
 
You have set PullArcWidth=40. This will only pull from a 40 degree arc in front of when you start pulling. This could be your issue.
Yeah it’s the tight but it is that hall right by the spirits in dark light caverns. I agree though due to the cone it was probably very narrow right at the first spawn and probably causing the issue.
