Hi all,

I have a n00b question I'm sure. I have been leveling a bard and using Aria of Begalru as my understanding is this is providing melee overhaste. After the update yesterday, the bard flat out wont cast this spell if I'm using meleetwist or putting it in the DPS section.

I have now resorted to the Aura of Maetanus, and this is working.

Should I be attempting to use Aria spells, or just use the highest available Aura spell ? And, since yesterday and the patch, should I expect to see the Bard ignore / not cast Aria spells ?

aria is a song to be twisted while fighting

aura is your bard aura, which is a buff that goes in your aura window (there are also echo version of the aura, but meh)

you want to have your aura up AND you want to be singing your aria during combat


tl;dr: - aura in buff section, aria as a twist #

Ok - so, since the patch yesterday my damn bard will not sing the Aria song (maetrunus or begalru). Do I need to re-create the .ini ?

I would double check that the location of your ini you think you're using/editing is in fact correct.

"MacroQuest - Live" in the launcher uses the "config" folder for your kissassist inis and not the macro folder

1. mq2map click is Control+Shift+Click
2. new easyfind self travel is Control+Click (reminder in find window title bar)
3. new easyfind group travel is Control+Shift+Click
4. If you selected a destination in your zone guide and want to activate it you /travelto activate
5. /yes and /no are now aliases, there is no mq2yes plugin

Looks like I had to move to 'next' aka macroquest-live on the launcher, and now the bard is singing like a peacock, if they sing.

So, making the move to MQ-Live from legacy-live on the launcher and migrating everything seems to have fixxed the issue. Thanks for clarifying the aura and the aria song during battle.
