Okay so i got to thinking hrm .. /lockazone cant zone out .. drop the expedition no lockout ... im in anguish ..

I try ture at 20% i /lockazone drop my expedition .. nope get locked out .. so i undo zonelock go out get a fresh instance ... try keld ... i lockazone .. drop expedition ... kill .. nope locked out ...

heres the good stuf =)

Get Expedition zone in drop all but you

/lockazone ..

drop yourself from the expedition

wait for the 2 minute kick out period

You know it tried to kick you out cause you will basicly "Shadow step" from where you were standing rather violantly

at this point the zone tried to kick you out and its no longer monitering what happens etc or what ever it does but it doesnt give lockouts anymore

after that you have about 10-12 minutes till the server its running on shuts that physical zone down and you go to char selection screen

so if your a nodelay user or a GKer what ever you have 10-12 minutes to kill your boss mob loot then get out of the zone.

after the mob dies =) check your lockouts after hanvar died =) i still wasnt locked out i went back in several other times till i got my shoulders off him =) 5 times to be exact.

just a note if you wait the full 10-12 minutes after it tries to boot you the first time you will go to char screen shows you IN the instance then you log in and your in gfaydark

now this will look odd with ranger monk what ever zoning in and out if others are out be subtle about it i would like a cpl months free for this i have yet to test it on quests instead of expeditions but im almost positive it will work cause ive done /lockazone on quests after groups have left and we all dropped the quest so i could stay and get some quick xp. and it would keep me in there.

Everytime I do this on Sisters, the ZL kick only happens once...
It will however close the instance if remove the min needed to keep it open.

well im Ghostkilling so it doesnt matter if im at the zoneline since thats where i GK from =) this is mainly for those who GK
 
Being that Hanvar is already up everytime you get the instance, could you kill him and get loots even if you have lockout?

Please Remove this as this will lead to Nerfing of GK faster for us that do it and not bring it out to the light like this. (This has been known for a long time) Only a matter of time before someone trys to cash on it and ruin it for everyone. My 2 cent.
 
I agree while I was glad to see it posted I think it should be removed.

You really think a post like this is going to bring about the nerfing of GK any faster than it might previously have been done? I highly highly doubt it. If SOE was serious about it they would have figured out a fix already. The knowledge that GK'ers can kill mobs a bunch of times rather than just once every 5 days isn't earthshattering, imo.
 
30 pt perma non dispellable ds on all raid mobs is all they would have to do to fix this problem with monks =p but they have their reasons for leaving it be ~
 
DS would fix it? I bring a cleric with me for Anguish so it wouldn't effect me that much.
 
Listen to those that say please remove this. . .You have no grounds what so ever in saying u think it should be removed, and to say this is gonna bring the end to GK is just retarded. People come here to share info with others and for anyone to tell someone to delete something they found and hasnt been posted yet is ridic. . .

Not that I care either way really since I quit EQ once again lol I am hopeing vanguard will come thru as a good game :-)

Of course it would, 30 ds would kill you faster than you can heal. Even if you were blasting with 2-3 different healers you would run out of mana and never complete the event/mob.
 
There are ways to keep aggro on the mob while you pay attentio to not letting your monk die. Anyone remember the old way to GK? No ds will prevent that, there are also a few new tricks out there to discover. When I first started out I had no healer and started with Anguish aug mobs, those DS guys really sucked but I found a way to keep aggro even while I waited the 7 minutes to regen to full, twice. Yeah it was a 16 minute kill but so what.

About nerfing a thread... I really think there thould be a redguides section for this type of stuff so that it's not right out there in the limelight but info can be shared semi-openly at the same time.
 
Well everyone is entitled to their oppinions but really it isnt for anyone to say "this should be deleted" Unless its a mod or Red and even then they wouldnt say it they would just delete it I would assume but I dont see that happening because this site is here for people that pay money to see things like this and to share what they know. So again I think anyone that says anything to anyone about deleting something like this should feel like an ass. . .and kinda selfish really thats my opinion
 
gm visit all instance up be aware some ban already do on ab server and gm say they move from server to another and visit all big instance some friend banished
 
This needs to stop, everyone is becoming all too selfish. I see this happen about 3 times a week, "this post needs to be deleted, blah blah bitch moan whine." Please people, with a community you need to give to take. Sometimes you have to give up an uber place to grind, or an uber thing you use to get yourself further in the game.

Honestly though, if Sony hasn't banned all the monks running around AMV wraps, 2.0 and full anguish armor, and full lockouts with a guild called, "Just for Guild Hall"(Real guild) then I don't think they will nerf this. The only way they can protect you from exploiting lockouts, is when you get the instance, it's there for 5 days and you have 5 days to complete all encounters or it resets. Which is how it should be, that way I can get the instance at the beginning of the week and kill it on the last hour and then get the new one and clear it $$$ lol

It's like every monk on the server has been beta buffed in certain gear... The basic setup is AMV Wraps, 2.0, Full Fiercehand Armor of the Focused, Sorrowmourn Stone, any other Anguish gear with Damage Modifiers and avoidance. It's just the rule and every monk has it now.

It's not obvious if you sit outside an LDoN zone out and watch every 2-3 hours at least 2-3 monks pop out and /gate and then you will see them again soon.
