Hi guys

I use kiss for 5 toons and manually play the 6th.

I have 3 issues that I am hoping you all can help me with:

1) Sitting - I want to issue a sit command to just my casters - is there a way to use /bca to just some toons?
2) Looting - my rogue wont stop looting and i cant tell why
2) Auto attack - my bard wont stop pulling and i cant tell why ( seems to only pull when my MA has a NPC on target)

Bard that pulls EDIT SOLVED

1. You can use /bct to send EQBCS tells to individual characters. So a hotkey that sends tells to each of the casters would work.
HTML:
/bct CasterName //sit
/bct Gandalf //sit
/bct ClericFace //sit

Alternatively you could send it to the group via /bcg or /bca or /bcaa and then tell the melee to stand up:
HTML:
/bca //sit
/bct DaggersMcStealth //stand
/bct Monk01 //stand

I'd suggest using KA's meditation settings on the casters though. Have the casters start to med at a higher percentage so they sit on their own. If you really, really want them to med to full including skipping a fight, you can turn on MedCombat too. Healers will still stand up to heal with this on.
HTML:
MedOn=1
MedStart=95
MedCombat=0

2. Your rogue roleplays well. Set a master looter for the group in EQ? You could check the rogue's EQ auto-loot settings too via ingame options (Alt-O.) Try out Maskoi's guide to setting up MQ2AutoLoot perhaps.

3. Fixed.

Here is the KA settings wiki too.

Aye, chances are the rogue that loots is using mq2autoloot because I can see he's clearly set LootOn=0

There are some assumption being made here. Are your characters physically going to the corpse and looting it or are you using the built in advloot window that comes with eq?

MQ2AutoLoot will loot all corpses and by default everything is set to keep. The MQ2AutoLoot INI will have a list of loot you've found and you would have to go to the INI which is found in the macro folder to set the preferred action. IE: Destroy|Barter|Sell|Keep|Ignore etc.

When using MQ2AutoLoot the character that is assigned as the master looter/group leader by default will loot. All characters will share the INI to know what is wanted to keep/ignore/destroy etc.

According to the plugin Wiki you can issue the command

/autoloot turn off

to turn off looting.

/autoloot turn on

to turn on looting.

But before doing that you can also check the status of the plugin

This is great thank you!

One more question, since /sit is a toggle if my casters happened to be sitting already they stand - is there some way to add a if statement in there? or would you just brute force it by /stand first then /sit?

${Me.Standing} Will check for standing, but I'm not having much luck writing a hotkey for sitting with it.

This solution feels like it is held together with duct tape, but does seem to work as a hotkey from another toon:
HTML:
/target CasterName
/if (${Target.Standing}) /bct ${Target.Name} //sit

Your brute method would work. If you're not using KA to med (meaning KA won't be making them /sit on it's own to mess this up) you could start with /stand to get everybody in the same state, then issue /sit to just the casters.

HTML:
/bca //stand
/bct CasterName //sit
/bct Gandalf //sit
/bct ClericFace //sit

Yeah that works. No I am not using KA to med, I'm currently playing on a emulator that has very fast OOC regen as long as the toon is sitting.

The problem I had with KA med, was they would keep trying to med while I am crawling a zone and then get way behind the group - I played with /mqp macros when I moved, but then it seemed like they would go through their entire rebuff cycle when I unpaused.

Ultimately, I disabled rebuffs because of this, as it seems buffers easily get stuck in a loop where an incoming buff overwrites the existing buff, which then triggers the need to rebuff, and they just rebuff over and over until I pause or stop.

My assumption was that I am using KA for a not as intended purpose, since I don't AFK play, but maybe am I missing a easier way to 1) Travel around with my team and 2) handle buffs not getting stuck in a loop?

Thanks, I tried the /autoloot command and it says that is invalid. There is a loot.ini file that does contain the items he has been looting, so that is being updated somehow, but I have yet to see how to disable it, and why its only that one dude doing it. (Other then him RP'ing ;))

if u go into the rogues ini and just turn loot from true to false he wont even look at a corpse.... as for the rest. just make a macro that says /bct <toonname> //sit. /bct only sends commands to the specific character name u give it. but setting ur med point works wonders. just make sure med combat is off if u wanna set it high so they sit after every fight. otherwise they will sit out fights until their mana is topped off. but id advise just using a mount unless ur in a zone that dont allow them. but if the ini trick dont work on the rogue.. use /advloot and turn off advanced loot completely and no more problems

MedOn=1
MedStart=85
MedCombat=0

that should make them sit anytime they cast a couple spells. but it wont make them do it in combat.

as for ur buff problem.. it will take time but u will have to do what i did.. some of my characters buffs overlapped.. ur gonna have to figure out what buffs u want on each toon and block the ones that keep overriding it. takes a bit of time but will be worth it in the end.
