Hey everyone!
Is anyone interested in taking on some contract work? It seems like a fairly simple task, just modifying/adding to existing macros, but I don't know what I'm talking about so I could be totally wrong.
I'm playing EMU on the Imperium server (which technically doesn't allow MQ2, but I figure in an instance it's okay). The instance is a "tower" made up of LDoN levels, picked at random each time a new floor of the instance is generated.
Currently I hail an npc in the guild lobby, /say options, /say solo, /say climb, /say floor 90 (though this number should be a variable that can be changed), say enter. Then, once in the instance, I need to wait a few seconds for the mobs to change to the correct level (10 seconds say). I can then run the instance without input (except sometimes autoattack turns off for some reason) using Kissassist and Ninjadvloot. After a certain number of mobs are killed, an npc named Dalamar the Dark spawns. When that happens, he shouts to the zone. He needs to be /target, /nav target, then when I arrive, hail him and say "next". That's it for the main loop. I think perhaps having an option to change what "floor" of the instance we start on would be helpful. An additional variable would be how many floors to climb/instances to run before the macro sends me back to the starting npc and starts over. This would be to keep me from climbing too high and encountering mobs that I can't beat.
I'm only looting items that are stackable, so no need to automate inventory management, banking, selling, etc.
Please let me know if you're interested, what the cost would be for such a project, timeframe, etc.
Thanks!
