Question - Alchemy exploit?

First time poster here. I heard mention of alchemy yeilding 100pp per combine on progression servers. Anyone around happen to hear about this too? Would be great for the community to find out about this, and what the combine is.

there's a lot of talk about duping atm, don't have any info on that, but i think the alchemy thing was something reselling at the wrong price across all servers that was fixed... just 100p each isn't as big of a deal except on progression.

apparently i was wrong about the alchemy thing, seems there are vendors with thousands of Benefit of Awareness IV on them, i haven't checked on it since i'm unfortunately about to go to school, but it seems like that may be your answer there.

I've narrowed it down to either Benefit awareness IV potion of the greater rejuv potions. I logged in a bank alt today and saw about 6 shaman sitting around the alchemy merchants. These two potions had quanities upwards of 600 on the merchants. It was the same in Oggok too. NPC sell price was 5k plat so who knows what they are buying them for.

Only thing is you need to be level 25 before you can start alchemy, so by the time I leveled a shaman to test it it would most likely be nerfed.

Anyone know some of the awareness potion combines? I cannot find anything about III and IV, because I want to give this a shot..

Alchemy Components: Bundle of Aloe, Bundle of Clover, Bundle of Sage Leaves(2), Powder of Ro, Runed Potion Vial, Wormwood

The tonics aren't in right now, the potions are called "Benefit Awareness III" etc. I was able to find I and II, but I cant find anything on III or IV, and from what it looks like, at least IV is all from vendors.

They also removed the vendors that supply these particular Alchemy reagents

If the vendor removal didn't kill the exploit, it will be taken care of very soon.
I spent about 5 hours today (at work) on various eq forums and even got a PM from Piestro explaining that it is being taken care of bla bla bla. Nothing new there. But he did suggest not to sell any high level items on TLP servers (dragon kill items) at this time.

What I did learn is that SOE is individually tracking any Plat made from this exploit and personally removing it from individual accounts and then rolling back any item sales. Apparently it is part of the reason the fix is taking longer than it probably should. So if you can alchemy, hope you made your cash.

To bad for me, 6 toons, no shaman

I was able to make a few K doing this, not like others.. but the way I went about this was starting with 0 alchemy and leveling up, using only combines that would make a profit, plus some SoW pots and the like.

And i still havent lost any of the plat i made doing it, which i split between a few characters, and also worked on other skills like research and JC..
