Problem - 23 enchanter keeps trying to cast Alacrity but it is blocked by Speed of the Brood

What target is the spell being spammed on?

Emu server. The enchanter is spamming everyone but primarily the main tank (SK). Also the mage is spamming Shield of Flame over and over as well (blocked by Legacy of Spike). Same Lazarus emu server. Mage is lvl 23. I usually buy the buffs from the buff npc next to the bank so they are usually higher.

I'll double check the code sometime soon but there are some issues with the stacking checks we use on Emu servers.

No promises there, however, we have developers actively playing on Laz right now who have been making improvements almost daily, and we hope to reach the point of a hassle-free emu experience as soon as possible!

Edit: I did add (speculatively) add another spell stacking check on the haste to try to temporarily alleviate the issue, it should be picked up in the next update cycle.

Just as an update, my chanter is now level 51 and she is chain casting Clarity but it is blocked by Gift of Pure Thought. I don't share this to point out the obvious, just to let you know incase you thought it was different.

So the problem is that as I understand it, Spell.StacksTarget() on emu is broken which is what we rely on to do stacking checks. I am still thinking about ways to resolve this.

You might need to turn on verbose logging and filter for "GroupBuffCheck" to see why it thinks those should stack.

To clarify, he means use /rgl setlogfilter GroupBuffCheck , which will only show lines containing that text and stop the spam you will get on verbose.
You can use /rgl clearlogfilter when you are finished (and change the log mode back from verbose) so you can have your normal messages.

The next time I have time to play in a day or two I will give this a shot. I honestly don’t mind the spam. I just would like her to med up in between mobs instead of constantly trying to recast her spells. The funny thing is even if I completely shut off the Lua she’ll still try to cast a couple of times with nothing running at all. I’ve been getting around it by turning off the Lua completely, and forcing her to retarget something else which usually stops the cycle. Then I can sit down and have her med up before I start it up again. It doesn’t affect combat because buffing does not take priority over fighting, so she does just fine during combat.

Logged her in, she sat for 2 min then started her chain casting of Clarity. I tried to send her the command, but she chain casts so fast, I literally cannot get a command in edgewise while she is casting. I left her alone then she stopped chain casting after about 30 seconds. I gave the command, but I did not see any confirmation in the MQ console window or any other window. After another 30 sec or so, she went back to chain casting clarity again, but you are right - it now does not show up in the MQ Console window. She seems to cycle on and off randomly. Will post this to show the times she is casting vs not if that helps at all.

this is because there are actions in the queue, you are telling the script to shut down but that is also added to the same uh, action queue.

You can always turn buffs off in the meanwhile, there is a Do Buffs setting.

Unfortunately, this has nothing to do with any of the information we need, it will be output the the mq console/window.

The command has nothing to do with the character itself, only what will be output to the console (or log, if you have log to file selected) by rgmercs.

You can change the log to verbose at the bottom of the RGmercs window (from any tab), and as long as you have entered the logfilter provided, it will filter messages other than those.

Simply take alook yourself or log to file and paste it here that way, but be sure you omit character names out of best practices (yes, even on emu, please).

Dinged 65. She is now stuck between Twincast aura and Beguilers Aura. Keeps Beguilers aura up and then chain casts twincast aura. If you unmem the Beguilers Aura, she will shortly replace Twincast aura with Beguilers again and then keeps chain casting Twincast Aura again. I stopped it, unmemmed the aura, removed the current beguilers aura. She memmed beguilers aura, casted it, then went back to swapping spells to twincast and trying to cast twincast aura while Beguilers Aura was still up. Under the class option, I have Do Twincast DPS on. I don't see anything about Beguilers aura. I do not have any charm settings turned on.

There is no option for Twincast Aura, as not using it is detrimental. The setting you are toggling is for using the Twincast Mez Spell in the DPS rotation, and a tooltip error and the recently added FAQ only muddies that water (I'll get that corrected).

Firstly, Twincast Aura is a level 84 spell. If a custom server has modified that, then I would have to ask if they have also modified the Auroria Mastery AA?

The logic is as intended to be:
Without Aurora Mastery, if Learner's Aura is selected in the options, we will use it. If Learner's is not selected, we will use the Spell Proc aura until Twincast is available, where it will be prioritized.

With Aurora Mastery, we will use Learner's and Twincast if Learner's is selected; we will use Twincast and the Spell Proc if Learner's is not selected.

Edit: If all of this checks out to you, and your settings are appropriate, we will once again need to play the game of "What is different on Laz?" (or maybe a quick round of "What did Algar break?".

I would also prefer to use Twincast instead of Beguilers. I only turned off the Twincast Mez to see if it would make any difference to the issue with the auras I was experiencing.
Learners is turned OFF.
I logged in and now she is not spamming the two auras over and over. Whatever change you made seems to have fixed the issue.
