I 4 box on eq2 using Innerspace and ISXEQ2 and I have Innerspace setup to limit each instance of eq2 to 40fps to include backround instances. I also ran 2 monitors with 2 instances of eq2 split screen on each monitor. To sum it up id have 4 windowed instances of EQ2 all running at 40fps and each window was smooth not choppy while not in focus. I also assigned each instance of eq2 its own core.
I have been trying the last couple of days to get 2 instances of eq to run using MQ2 but the only instance that runs smooth is the active window. The other window drops to less then 1 fps.
Is it possible to assign each instance its own core and let the backround window have a higher fps when not in focus? Does the backround instance need to run at a higher fps to allow the healing bot to run smoothly and move around while not in focus?
Sorry if these are really newb questions. Ive done a couple of searches and the only threads ive come across refer to performance issues being the limiting factor. I have a quad core, 8gb mem and 2 9600 vc's in non sli pushing its own 22in widescreen monitor.
Any help would be appreaciated.
Thanks
