When you are able to get your crew set up to run mostly F2P, the expansions just seem all the more in-reach, in my opinion. The savings in Krono will likely more than cover a groups worth of expansions. Edit: and on Test, those savings are permanent, so :dance:

This has been my determination as well.

I don't use any premium resources for tradeskills or collections, but I can say that I've recently found out just how useful having collects on hand can be. I keep my accts rotating Overseers, and collection item dispensers are like my go-to there, even long after I acquired more than I thought...

CoV went on sale 9/14/21. ToL went on sale 9/6/22. NoS went on sale 9/12/23. So some time around there. It's been 25% off the past 3 times.

Thanks a bunch for the tip to go ahead and place anchors. Got a new full six to 115 and near max AA also, and had anchors still sitting in their bags with less than a week left on their all access. Would have been a bummer to wait to place til next Krono. :rc

I didn't see this mentioned, but I actually feel good about the money I spend on EQ. I'm a small potato, but I have six accounts. I understand that each sub, Krono, expansion purchase, etc. all help keep the game going in some way. EQ has meant a lot to me over the years and I'd love to see...

You can 'do' the quests, but the Augments are a bonus reward for Heroic characters. So the character must be Heroic to be granted the Augments.

I also don't think a naming scheme like this necessarily implies MQ use. I've seen some variation of that used on many occasions by strangers and guildmates. Boxing, yes. Third party programs, not necessarily.

I voted classic because there was absolutely something wild and exciting about raiding in those days. Some great raids later on too, but for sheer excitement classic - Velious was it. My favorite raid expansions overall, that I have seen: Classic, Velious, PoP, TSS, SoF. Cool thread, thanks :)
