A TLP without truebox has thawed (Very Vanilla ready)
Hi All,
I'd like to report what I think is a bug, but I have a workaround. I like to set everyone with GroupWatchOn=1|60, and my workaround is to turn GroupWatchOn off for everyone but the MA.
The issue is when I'm playing manually with a few automated people in the group helping out. After I...
I don't do this every time I create a new character, but I've completed that damn tutorial more times than I can count. I'm strangely compelled for some reason, and I end up hating myself in the morning.
I plan to have 2 EQ installs, one for my main guy that I drive, and a separate one with massively dialed down settings (no particles, low textures, etc.). Still it is a good precaution. I guess I'd need to buy a 0 ram device and add 128 in myself since the ones I've seen online all seem to max...
Hi All,
I know this has been discussed in the past, but I'm looking for a new machine in 2024 that will be pretty much dedicated to EQ, and I'd like to be able to run as many as 54 characters (maybe more if I continue to lose my mind).
This thread from a few years ago was very useful for me...
I haven't tried your Task Hud yet, but the concept looks amazing. This looks very similar to something that I was considering writing. What I wanted to do is to be able to easily ensure that my raid all has the task I want to work on, and to be able to (at a glance) verify what their current...
One thing that I've encountered as well is that you must be inside the navmesh in order to be able to successfully initiate a /travelto. For example, if you're in PoK, north of Amile Pitt up on the hill, you can't /travelto anywhere because it can't find a path to the destination due to not...
I have been having this problem as well, but Auto Loot All is confirmed to not be enabled in advanced loot. Are there any other potential causes to look out for?
I went with two identical tank groups of: WAR WAR PAL CLR MNK BRD (with lots of clerics elsewhere).
I constructed this way for several reasons:
1. With these two groups I can run a "Defensive" (or Final Stand or whatever) rotation where the WARx4 can rotate defensive to keep it up all of the...
I'm writing a lua script that moves around with mq2nav, then fights with KA for a bit, then moves, etc. The issue that I'm having is that sometimes my fighting is pushing me off of the navmesh and so when I subsequently try to move it fails to go anywhere. My initial thought was that I would...
When I use /maxradius, the blue circle on the map updates to reflect the new radius, however, the yellow circle doesn't. Is there any way to get it to update? Thanks.
I am encountering a hang with the new Overseer.lua on the test server. EQ and RG work correctly up to the point where I do /lua run overseer, and then it all hangs and requires me to kill EQ from the OS task manager. It is working fine on the live server. Thanks.
Yeah, that's the weird thing. When I launch EQ for a handful of toons simultaneously (using an AutoLogin profile) they seem to all be naturally staggered by a few seconds, however, I still encounter the overseer issue sporadically. Note: my overseer launch is in my ingame.cfg. I imagine that...
As I said in my September 16th comment, it seems to me that it is an issue with exclusive permissions when opening the overseer.lua. I say this because the Settings object is nil (as determined by print statements that I added) after it has been loaded (on the characters that fail). I tried...
But you need to be really careful with this (see my post in this forum thread on Sep 16th). It works fine if you launch overseer separately, however, if you launch multiples at the same time (either via like /dgga /lua run overseer, or doing it from ingame.cfg) then it will quite often ignore...
Hi All. Since Test came back online yesterday, I'm encountering a few issues. I'm not 100% sure if I should create a separate thread for each or list them all in one. So I'll list everything here, but go into detail on one. I know you're swamped, so I'll hold off on posting new threads for the...
